1 Star – If I could give 0 stars, I would. Absolutely Disgusting. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others after staying at "The Grand Victory Hotel, Amritsar'' for 2 nights. This place was a "complete nightmare". Let’s start with the bathroom – it was absolutely filthy and unhygienic. The drain was surrounded by gunk, mold, hair, and brown stains, like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. There were insects crawling out from cracks in the wall and the smell was awful. Seriously, it felt like a **cheap roadside lodge**, not a hotel that charges this much. The **walls and corners were stained**, with grime buildup everywhere. The overall maintenance is non-existent. If you're someone who values cleanliness even slightly – just avoid this place at all costs. To top it off, the **bedsheets and pillow covers were dirty**, with **visible stains** on them. It was clear they were reused without being properly washed. We had to request fresh ones, and even the "clean" replacements didn’t look or smell fresh. It honestly made me not want to sleep at all. We informed the staff, and their **response was careless and dismissive**. No apology. No urgency. No room change. It felt like they just didn’t care – as if this is normal for them. I’ve stayed in budget hotels that were *far cleaner and more professional* than this. For what they charge, this level of service is **completely unacceptable**. Please, **don’t waste your money or ruin your trip** like we did. This hotel is falsely advertised, poorly managed, and not worth even half the price.

At a first glance I thought I did a mistake to book a room here. But the staff and the service changed my view. It’s near by Golden temple just 2-3 mins walk. It’s really budget friendly and good to stay here if want to book for 1-2 days.

Hotel location is excellent, walking 5 mins to golden temple. Rooms were decent but was disappointed with quality of bedsheets as white sheets were not cleaned , I had got it changed but all fresh sheets had marks/ stains on them. This can be looked into.

This is a small hotel in market’s Gali with total 7 rooms. One at ground floor and 2 rooms at each floor. Lift is there. Owner is nice and helpful. Staffing needs a bit more training. Room and entire facility is clean. Owner will help you with the queries/knowledge of nearby attractions. He will also help in booking cab/auto if needed. You may avoid booking breakfast as there is no kitchen/restaurant in hotel but delivered directly in room from a nearby restaurant.

Our room was nice—spacious enough for two and very clean. Everything was within walking distance, especially the market and Golden Temple, yet it was slightly away from the crowds. The staff was polite and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth.

Good location for moving at Amritsar with Good food , clothes, punjabi jutti is fabulous on our side with fabulous price respect shop owners and many more like lassi 😜 😜 😜

Does what it says. Great location. No nonsense setup. Clean rooms. Polite staff. Walkable from Golden Temple and heritage street. The only negative that I experienced was that sometimes the street leading to the hotel is blocked by the local police as it is very very congested. The hotel staff had to come to the main road to convince the cops to let our e-rickshaw in the narrow street. Opt for this one if you are looking to visit places of interest on foot.
