NillI recently stayed here with my family and relatives. It’s an excellent choice for people traveling with family. Just a few steps from Darbar Sahib, the hotel offers excellent service and ultra-hygienic, clean rooms. It’s a very well-maintained property. The owners are always around to ensure everything is in place and guests are comfortable. I’ve also stayed here a couple of times before when traveling solo. It’s very safe for solo women travelers.

Nill(EARLY CHECK IN LOOT 1500 RUPEES) As you will fly in when your flight timings permits, so did I. I had requested for early check-in 10days in advance - I was told we will do it basis availability, I said ok. When I reached 8:30 - 9AM and requested for early check-in, I was treated with bad manners, by one gentleman from reception (young/not tall/not local , rude person - He said sir you should come at the check-in time, why did you come early). Then he demanded 1500 rs( he said can you do cash - red flag) saying I will have to call special cleaning staff - a lie. I am fine with other things, let them do what they want. Sitting opposite to a holy temple - the owners are engaging in minting extra cash from the pilgrims - So sad !! - for them even faith is a matter of opportunity to suppress pilgrims/make them suffer with extra burden. So if you do not want to face hard time, rude words, EXPENSIVE FOOD, unwelcoming behaviour - please find a different place. The owner should think if this extra money from holy pilgrims will bring help or harm.

NillWashrooms are quite small and the terrace is not open 😔 sadly for that i booked the hotel to get view from terrace but it's locked ..so don't book for view. The rooms are smaller but decent and good. Best part it's quite close to the Darbar Sahib and you can walk easily and nearby tea stalls r always open.Still little overpriced as per room ..they should open terrace for all which would be great then and lil worthy for the price Rest everything is decent! Enjoy and get blessed

NillExcellent service and very kind owners and management. The rooms are very clean and hygiene is well maintained. The food and beverages are also good. Car parking is available and it's just opposite the Golden Temple and it can also be viewed from specific room windows

NillWorst hotel in our experience, very very very bad review. Rooms are unhygienic and unsanitary, bedsheet is stained, towels are unclean, hot water doesn't come in the shower, and reception is bad. Food is optionless and oily. Overall, location is ideal and very good. Better hotels are available nearby, highly NOT recommended for stay here.

NillWell equipped and clean rooms. Food is pretty good although the menu is limited. The service is fast and very professional. Its located within a minute of the Golden Temple. The only issue is lack of parking space, especially during weekends. Highly recommended for a stay.

NillExtremely disappointing experience at Hotel Sapphire, Amritsar. Firstly, the food prices are outrageously high, and what’s worse — they charge more than what’s mentioned on their own menu card! This is nothing short of daylight robbery. When asked about the discrepancy, they had no clear answer and just brushed it off. To make matters worse, the food quality is substandard — bland taste, stale smell, and definitely not worth the money you’re forced to pay. The receptionist may seem polite at first, but it’s all fake and overly buttering behavior, clearly done just to manipulate guests into ignoring the real issues. This kind of artificial hospitality does not make up for poor service and overcharging. Highly NOT recommended. There are much better and more honest hotels nearby — save your money and peace of mind.

NillWe were really looking forward to our stay at Hotel Sapphire during our first trip to India, a special journey to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We booked a room with a view of the Golden Temple at what we believed was a great rate through my MakeMyTrip. Shortly after confirming, the hotel contacted us directly to say the price was incorrect and asked us to cancel the booking ourselves. This was very disappointing and has taken away from the excitement of our long-awaited trip. We expected more professionalism from a hotel that is so highly rated and in such a sacred and meaningful location. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled left a poor impression—not just of the hotel, but of the overall hospitality experience. We hope the hotel improves its booking and customer communication process going forward. —Mac & Irene (Canadian travelers)
