SPOT ON 63771 Hotel Puri Dham

The initial quoted rent was 1200 rs per day for a room. The queen-sized bed and attached bathroom. I negotiated it down to 950 rs. Various compromises in quality and services were made. Pros: Geyser availability - The room had a geyser, though it's the capacity was limited to 4 to 5L requiring a wait time of 3 to 5 minutes between users. If the geyser isn't working, you will need to inform the reception to turn the switch on which is located near the staircase. Food services - the hotel offers Tali, which was priced at ₹120 with unlimited Roti, curry rice and sambar. However, the pampad was limited to one. Cons: Hygiene and maintenance - the room was dirty upon arrival, and despite repeated requests, it was never cleaned the windows and cupboard were broken as well and the TV didn't work, displaying a no connection message. Water bottles - complementary water bottles were provided. However, it appeared that the seal has broken or maybe the bottles have been refilled, and it tasted like tap water. When asked for a replacement, I was asked to pay for it as they have the same bottles in availability. Pricing of food - the food was satisfactory. It felt overpriced compared to nearby hotels, that is near the temple offer similar thalis for ₹60 with comparable quality and quantity. Mosquito issues - there was no provision for mosquito repellents, asking help from reception went unproductive. Buying repellent from nearby store would solve the issue. Overall, the hotel falls short on cleanliness, maintenance and customer service. Well, it provides basic amenities, the lack of responsiveness and quality makes it difficult to recommend. I would advise potential visitors to explore other options in the area for a better experience, unless you can adjust, as primary objective of vising the place is jagannath ji ka Darshan and not some sort of luxury or vacation.

Good place it is. Nice to live... 1 give 3 stars, according to the quality of rooms, it deserves 3 stars. Everything is fine there, you will find good rooms, You get is 50-60 meters out from the main road, u can see in from the main road, because there is some open space in front of the hotel. Rooms available at ground floors as well as upper floors also.

Just a small hotel and a restaurant at out side infront of hotel premises, it's usually use functions inside the hotel
