Hotel Govindam pure veg

The hotel is decent. My family liked the experience of staying there for 2 days. 15mins walking to jagannath temple. Autos are easily available outside the hotel. Food was okay. Service was good. The floor was little moist even after cleaning it twice.

Unfortunately, my experience in this hotel was quite disappointing. Room was not cleaned at all. Even they do not change floor mat, it was very dirty and unhygienic. The position of AC was so bad,that that cool air used to hit head directly,and the worst part is the sound that the AC made. We had to switch off the AC in the night , so that we can sleep peacefully . The cupboard was also so dirty that we were not able to keep our cloths there. Another worst thing about the hotel is the food. They serve only veg food, that is not a problem. But the food should taste good. Not a single preperation tasted good. One more thing, there is lots of cockroaches and other insects in the hotel lobby. Overall, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Worst experience ever!

It was the worst experience ever. The rooms are not neat and clean rather dirty and dusty. Tap was broken. Geyser was not working. The placement of window AC is too bad to explain. Moreover the stabilizer attached to it was simply kept on the floor! If you are not causciou you may get electric socks. Besides that the hotel charges extra amount per night for you car for parking. There is no accomodation for car drivers. Room charges are really high in respect of the quality of the rooms. Over all I will say NO to this hotel.

Awesome hospitality. Best place to stay with family. Serving staffs have good behaviour. Dinner without onion and garlic was also very good.

Great experience , service was top notch, we visited during rath yatra on July 2024 , really liked the rooms and people , you cannot see the sea from here as it is in the market area but it's at a walking distance to sea and sargadwar , great hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Hovindam, Puri. The location is convenient, close to main areas, but the rooms are quite compact – just okay for a short stay. The food was disappointing, as it was below average in taste and extremely spicy, not suitable for all guests. Another major issue is that the hotel does not provide car parking, which makes it inconvenient for travelers with their own vehicle. Overall, it’s fine if you just need a place to stay for location, but I wouldn’t recommend it for comfort, food, or facilities.

My experience at Hotel Govindam, Puri was a mix of good and bad. Positives: • The hotel is well-located, very close to the sea and not too far & not too close to Jagannath temple • The hospitality was good, and the staff members were polite and helpful during the stay. Areas of Improvement: • The room quality was not up to the mark for the price. It stayed damp and wet most of the time, likely due to water leakage or moisture from the sea. • One concern I had was that the hotel staff asked me to give a 5-star review in advance via WhatsApp. When I told them I would leave a review after checkout, they excused themselves. This felt a bit unprofessional. Overall, the location and staff were nice, but the room condition and review pressure took away from the experience. I hope they work on these issues for future guests.

Terrible experience. Dirtiest property I have ever been to. Rooms are small and not even cleaned. Pathetic location as well. Right after u check in, one the hotel staff knocks at the door and forces u to give a 5 rating when u book through MMT or any other application. Doesn't move an inch until u give a good rating. All the good reviews u c in the applications are nothing but eye wash.
