Hotel Grand Rio

I usually don't write detailed reviews, but this experience compelled me to share my feedback. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were not greeted or assisted in any way. There was no one at the gate to help with our luggage or to direct us to the reception. The front desk staff were quite rude and behaved as if they were running a 5-star property, despite the overall experience being far from it. There was no one assigned to show us to our room; we were simply handed keys along with the room number and floor, and we had to locate our room ourselves with our luggage. The room was spacious and comfortable, which was a positive aspect. The minibar was stocked with chocolates, milkshakes, soft drinks, chips, and cookies—all of which came at three times the MRP, so be cautious of the inflated prices. During checkout, a staff member came to inspect the room, checking the minibar, snacks, and the overall condition of the room, including looking for any damages or stains. I found this approach to be quite rude and intrusive. In my experience staying at numerous business and luxury hotels both within and outside Maharashtra, I have never encountered such a thorough inspection at checkout. The food was average, but the rooms were good and spacious. Unfortunately, the staff’s focus on maximizing earnings overshadowed the hospitality experience. Moreover, after I had returned the key at the reception, they called me later to ask about its whereabouts. It’s their responsibility to ensure everything is checked at checkout, rather than disturbing guests afterward. Professionalism should be reflected in every aspect of service, and I feel this hotel falls short in that regard.

Highlighting specific standout aspects—such as friendly staff or delicious food—adds value. It’s also important to mention excellent service, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and a convenient location. Expressing a desire to return helps convey overall satisfaction with the stay.

Good hotel in Nashik city with amazing breakfast buffet. The service is very good. There's a pool area but there's always some conference going on so most won't feel comfortable using it. Other than that, the hotel is value is for money.

The staff deserve a special mention – everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Check-in was smooth and quick, and any request I had was handled with a smile. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options – a perfect way to start the day. The in-house restaurant also served excellent meals, and the quality and taste exceeded expectations. I also appreciated the hotel’s serene location. It’s conveniently close to the highway, yet peaceful enough to truly relax. The added amenities like the swimming pool, gym, and complimentary coffee in the lobby were a lovely touch. Overall, Hotel Grand Rio delivers on every front – comfort, hospitality, and value for money. I’ll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nashik, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay.

Undoubtedly among the best hotels in Nashik. They even offer spacious suite rooms. Food is slightly expensive but the complimentary buffet breakfast is simply amazing. There is Kaka Dhaba which is a stone throw away from the hotel and offers great food. The location of the hotel is really good.

I recently had the Chicken Dum Biryani, and it was an absolute delight from the first bite to the last. The rice was perfectly cooked—each grain separate, fragrant, and infused with the rich aroma of traditional Indian spices. The chicken was tender and juicy, marinated thoroughly and slow-cooked to perfection, absorbing all the flavors from the dum process.||What stood out most was the balance in flavor—not overly spicy, but with just the right kick to keep it interesting. The caramelized onions, fresh herbs, and subtle saffron notes added layers of depth that made the dish feel truly authentic.||Served with cooling raita, it made for a well-rounded, satisfying meal. If you’re a biryani lover or just trying it for the first time, this Chicken Dum Biryani is a must-try. Highly recommended!|Keep it up Team.

I had an underwhelming experience at Grand Rio Hotel. The cleanliness was far below expectations, the rooms and common areas didn’t feel properly maintained. The hospitality was equally disappointing, with staff showing minimal interest in guest comfort or service. For the price and the promises made, this place falls short. If cleanliness, basic courtesy, and service matter to you, I would recommend looking at other options in the area.
