Itsy By Treebo - Hill Town

This is located in the middle of the town and easily accessible to most of the tourist places in and around Coorg. It seems like a single road to the hotel but however it has a good amount of parking space opposite the hotel. No worries about the parking space. The hotel seems like an old building but still maintained well , the wonderful part is their customer service and hospitality provided by the hotel staff. They are really amazing people and will help you in all the requirements. They will guide you for the nearest tourist places timings and other details.

The property is an Old Property...may be 40+ years old. Its name is hotel but practically it is a lodge. Not worth to be promoted by Treebo. 1. Room: Beds are okay. Interior & fittings horrible. Toilet doesn't have an exhaust fan. Issued hotel kit/accessories like brush/comb/shaving kit after two nights' stay. 2. Service: The property doesn't have its own restaurant nor has any tie up with any nearby restaurant. The menu card provided in room is of a nearby restaurant (100m), who charges Rs 40 for every delivery....Pathetic!!! 3. Location: is good...at centre of the city and Medikari Fort, Raja's Seat etc are very close to the property. 4. Cost: The room charges are variable with respect to season. Once 1500 room are sold at around 4000 during peak tourist season (Oct-Jan). Overall experience vs. expectations: 4/10.

Its a good stay. Hotel staff is friendly, breakfast is included. Its close from raja seat and abbey falls Ample parking space. Could improve on cleanliness a bit Overall above average stay

No what we expected. The reviews on Google were largely favorable, but it's important to understand what people's expectations are. I would rate this is a 2-star (minus) hotel. Hotel staff was friendly, patient, and helpful. However, the facilities were orderly but not super clean. The rooms had an odd odor, and the sheets had visible stains. Rooms are locked from the *outside* with a strange bolt. No A/C and windows are barred, meaning others can't come in, but you also can't get out. ||Also, the clientele who patronize the establishment were not an orderly or considerate lot. Children and families were piled into rooms, and running about. Location was hard to find as the building is situated at the very back of an alley. There is parking, but limited.||In a short time it became unbearable, so much so that we left and abandoned our 3-day booking. Not worth it. In summary, if you're on a shoe-string budget, simply need a place to rest your head or need this location, you might entertain this. But as a family we quickly concluded this was unfit for our needs and expectations.

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel during the Dasara festival in Madikeri, and it was an unforgettable experience! The hotel has a wonderful old-world charm, which adds to the cozy and authentic vibe of the place. It’s the perfect time to visit Coorg, as the town is lively and the weather is just beautiful. The highlight of my stay, though, was the exceptional service from the staff, especially Vivin and Nyouful. They were incredibly genuine, kind, and always ready to assist with anything – from suggesting great local places to eat, to recommending must-visit spots around Coorg. Their hospitality made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Madikeri. Whether you're here for a short trip or a longer stay, you’ll feel right at home!

At least there is a toilet, but otherwise bring your own supplies. Also, the clientele who patronize the establishment were not an orderly or considerate lot. Children and families were piled into rooms, and running about at all hours. Location was hard to find as the building is situated at the very back of an alley. There is parking, but very limited. In a short time it became unbearable, so much so that we abandoned our 3-day booking. You really get what you pay for. Not worth it. This may be okay for those on a shoe-string budget or backpackers looking to rest their heads for a night. Not great for Western travelers, or those seeking to be comfortable.

Hill town is very good rooms and good service.... staffs are very friendly...they explained beautifully about the room as well as about the cites also... I am very happy about the rooms
