Very disappointing stay. Far from the main city with confusing directions, especially after dark (no streetlights). Only one bathroom for 2 bedrooms, owners are unprofessional and unhelpful — even refused basic washroom use after checkout. Poor facilities: no towels/soap, fridge not working, unusable kitchen. No scenic view, just a lane far outside Coorg. Not recommended.

Stayed with family for 3 days. It's OK to stay. 3BHK without attached bathrooms. One single bathroom is available and 24hours hot water is available. Doors and Locks are not working properly.

It was a lot of people hanging out around my room, the owner/ caretaker came upstairs in the balcony to take off some item during our stay. The TV didn’t work, it only had limited channels. The door did not seem secure and was not evened out, so bugs got in easily. There was only a mini fridge in dining area which did not work. Curtains was hanging from broken fixtures, the dining table mat was tore, there complete leakage in the second bedroom, dustbins was not cleared every day. I will not recommend this place unless this is a very last resort. I don’t even know how they got 4.5 out this rating. (Make my trip rating board was displayed in the living arear). The picture which they have posted is not the actual image, may be this could be old pictures. The current shape of the homestay is very bad. I checked out one day prior my booking.

2-3 km away from the bus stand, in a quiet peaceful place with no crowd. Very clean and nicely maintained place with all necessary amenities. The host is very humble, polite and helpful. He allowed us to checkin were early around 5am in the morning. We had not planned anything and just thought will do whatever we feel like but the host helped us with the full plan of what to do when

House is good and well maintained and owners stay in ground floor and very cooperative and friendly, well behaved. One star less just because it is around 4kms away from main city so for food you need go 3 to 4 kms, no food available near by other than that it's beautiful place and very calm residential layout with good mountain view and coffee plants around when you go for morning walk.

Best homestay in Madikeri for the price. Excellent for family. Located close to most tourist attractions in Madikeri.was easy to find on Google maps. Place is very nice and clean. Has got most basic amenities, like 24*7 hot water supply, TV, drinking water. Place has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a dining hall, a main room and a kitchen. Also has provision for parking your vehicle. Cons: No cons. Best place to stay at the price. Only problem is that the road to this place is very bad. It was a pleasure staying here. I had absolutely no problems.

1 star is not worth. Bachelors or those who want to enjoy, please dont visit this place. Owner and his family stays in ground floor and they always poke you for each and everything. About the place- its kind of 2 BHK room having one common bathroom. Homestay is a place where you will get all sorts of house hold thing. but if you visit this place, your expectation will go in vain. We were 5 ppl. They gave only 5 place, no spoon, no glasses, no water bottle or can. Best part, they have fridge for showpiece. It doesnt work and they are not bothered to fix that. Interesting part was, we went from blore to enjoy our trip. We started our party at 11 PM and around 11:30 PM, owner calls me and ask me " Chup Chap ja kar so jao". Mean. we pay for our enjoyment and they will tell us what to do or not to do. Please clarify everything before going there or visit some other homestay.
