Overpriced but Average stay with Amazing Owner. I would not call this a HomeStay, but it is more like a Hotel/Lodge. Parking the Car is a tricky deal, as the terrain is tough and high. It's overpriced looking at the facilities available. Basic amenities were not provided, like Cupboard, Toiletries. Food had to be ordered from outside. Breakfast was average. Father-Son duo/Owner of the stay are amazing and really helpful all the time. View from the stay is great, but select rooms have it. One room has a good view but a water tank is just in front to the window, so that ruined the view. Overall it's a good stay.

Please avoid this place or booking for below from Agoda for two reasons# There location is slightly wrong and that will slightly ask you to jump down the hill literally as road is small or bad turn..we went at 7.30pm so avoid at evening at all. Second # till 7.30 pm I didn't get any call from hotel or if we are trying to call, it goes to treebo and top of it treebo is not associated now. But still Google location or this one has that contact number not property. I was with my family and small kid and trying to find this property for 1.5 hour and booking partner Agoda was of no use ..just extends 30 minutes wait time.

Me and my wife stayed at Daisy der from 12 to 14 Oct. We reached around 7 pm and were welcomed warmly by Dhiraj and his father who is the owner of the property. They also upgraded us to suite accommodation which has an additional room and a big terrace. Complete accommodation was sparkling clean. Quality of bed and linen is top class. In the morning while sipping morning tea at the terrace we observed views of the nature. Dhiraj also served sumptuous veg breakfast which was one of the best we had during our 10 days trip. They personally looked after all our needs. We'll recommend this property to all those traveling to Coorg. Location is very convenient and near to Medikeri market.

One of the best homestays anywhere...and what makes it best is the service and behaviour of their owner Mr. Dheeraj and his father. Dheeraj was very helpful in arranging transportation for any local travel as well as for the sightseeing. The homestay is situated in hills and gives some scenic views throughout the day. It is around 1.5 km from the Madikeri bus stand. Rooms are decent, location is very good, service is excellent. Would recommend this homestay to anyone who is looking for a decent stay in Coorg/Madikeri.

Wonderful property amidst lush greenery and a great view of the low forested hills opposite. Located a good 2 km away from the bustle of the hill town Madikeri, it is a good place to stay if you want to spend a quiet holiday in the hills, away from the crowd. Best part is the hospitality and helpfulness of the father-son duo who runs this place. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Breakfast is on the house. Other meals can be ordered from hotels in town, if one so prefers.

Very peaceful stay in line with the serene environment around. The owners Father and Son, Dheeraj are very cooperative gentlemen. The quality of food served in breakfast needs improvement. Rooms with balcony have beautiful view. One of the rooms we booked had a musty smell due to lack of ventilation. There are no cupboards in the room but a wooden stand. The hotel, a two storied bunglow, should start serving food, at least some fixed menue. It would help tourists as the restaurant options are not much and not good enough.
