Our stay at Jade Hill Homestay in Madikeri, Coorg was nothing short of magical! Nestled right at the top of a hill, this pet-friendly retreat offers breathtaking views, fresh mountain air, and the peaceful sounds of nature. We arrived just in time to witness a stunning sunset, setting the perfect tone for our getaway.||The hospitality of the caretaker, Pushpa aunty, and her son, Babith, was exceptional. They welcomed us with warmth, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. The rooms were spotless, and their service made us feel completely at home. Though we arrived late and had to order dinner from a nearby restaurant (which was quite good), the real highlight of our trip was the delicious homemade breakfast prepared by Pushpa aunty. The Pundi and Kadla Curry were simply divine, and the bread omelet with jam was a treat. To top it off, hot tea was served early in the morning, followed by breakfast at our preferred time—a level of personal service that’s rare to find!||Beyond the comfort of the homestay, the nearby attractions are truly spectacular. We highly recommend catching the mesmerizing sunrise at Mandalpatti, visiting Vanachalu Falls, and exploring Nishani Hills, all within a short 3-4 km radius.||One of the best surprises was that Jade Hill Homestay offers internet connectivity, making it ideal for those who need to stay connected while enjoying nature’s tranquility. We spent two wonderful days at this peaceful retreat, and it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The place is incredibly quiet, surrounded by open spaces with a breathtaking view of the mountains. One of the biggest highlights was that it was pet-friendly—our cat absolutely loved exploring the area and soaking in the serene atmosphere. The staff was exceptional—so warm, welcoming, and attentive. And the food? Simply delicious! Every meal was a delight, adding to the overall experience of comfort and relaxation. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape away from the noise of the city, this is the perfect spot. An exceptional location for accommodation, offering an unparalleled experience. The scenic views are truly stunning, surrounded by lush greenery. The walking paths are well-maintained and pristine. Guests can enjoy fresh air in an unpolluted setting. Breakfast is complimentary and we had order food for Dinner and it was so amazing and tasty. The service is excellent.Right from check-in to check-out, the staff is very helpful. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Amazing heritage home experience.We Highly recommend this place .

Wonderful place to stay. Incomparable. Scenic view is very very beautiful. Green all around the house. Walking road is very clean and clear . Fresh air and unpolluted environment. Lunch and dinner will be ready only advance booking. Breakfast complimentary and are delicious But price is high as per facility so improvement of the same necessary. Tooth brush pest body wash etc not provided. Freshness of rooms are necessary due damp smell . Position, environment all are very good for the persons who want to stay away from the busy areas.

We had a fantastics stay at Jade Hills for 2 nights. The best part of this homestay is the view. This is the only property on a hill, so it gives that private property feeling. And the next best thing is the food. The caretaker Babith and his mother cook delicious authentic Karnataka style food. Both Veg and Non-Veg dishes are very good and give you that homely feeling. The sunset view from this property is worth watching. Wherever you go for site seeing in Coorg, ensure you get back by sunset time (around 5:30 pm during winters) to capture the mesmerizing and picturesque sunset 🌅 thru the hills. They made a small Gazeebo kind of concrete structure to enjoy such views. The location of the property is great as well. It’s about 7 Km from Medikeri town and amidst coffee estates which is perfect. Every morning we used to go for a nature walk in the chilly weather enjoying the views and feel of the coffee estates. Kudos to the property staff/owner Prasanna, Babith and his Mom for providing us smooth and comfortable stay and experience.

Located in the midst of coffee plantations on a hill with a rustic look reminded me of my ancestral house in my village, reminiscing childhood memories! Best part of the place is the authentic home cooked meal served with love and the stunning views from the lil cottage !
