Very Disappointing Anniversary Dinner at Socials Davangere We chose Socials Davangere for our wedding anniversary dinner with family, trusting the credibility of Sai International (same owner). Unfortunately, the experience was a complete letdown. 1. Despite only 8 tables being occupied on a Monday night, the staff were completely disorganized and seemed overwhelmed. 2. None of the staff spoke Kannada, making communication very difficult. 3. The waiter was rude and dismissive when we requested veg starters without frying. His response was, “fry will be there in all starters,” with no attempt to help or offer alternatives. 4. We ordered baby corn 65 and masala papad — both were extremely spicy. Our elder daughter couldn't eat them and asked for fries, but it took them 30 minutes just to confirm the order. Finally, we cancelled it due to the delay, and the staff seemed clueless about our order status. 5. The mix veg curry was also too spicy and went mostly uneaten. Only the dal fry and roti were okay. The kushka tasted more like plain veg pulao. 6. The baby chair was broken, and no alternative was provided. Our 12-month-old baby had to be seated on the table, which was very inconvenient and unsafe. 7. Even after we paid the bill through UPI, no one cross-verified the payment. We had to proactively call the staff and show proof of payment, which added to the frustration. Overall, the food was average, the service extremely poor, and the experience completely ruined the mood of our special day. This place may suit those coming to drink and hang out, but it's absolutely not recommended for a peaceful family dinner. Our expectations were high because of Sai International, but this visit was a total disappointment

Rooms were filled with mosquitoes as the place is located right next to agricultural field. After requesting , I was offered another room with less mosquitoes. No Wi-Fi in rooms should have been highlighted to help prospective guests to decide on the booking. The food seemed decent. With better management, the place can be much better.

1 Rooms water drinking glass are not available 2. Cafe maker kept but no tea and coffee sachets 3. Worst pathetic receptionist, other than hindi dont under any other language, arrogant while we entered, he is speaking to his girlfriend in bihar not bothered to answer me 4. Dinning time 1 hour for 1 soup to serve No value for money No breakfast is available in morning, if u required need to travell 7 kms in morning

Right on NH4, this place is good for a break from the drive, have good food and rest. But, we visited this place for other reasons. We got together in DVG Socials to celebrate our Engineering reunion(36 people) and stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. Good food, good service and good company made this a pleasant stay! One feedback is to ensure more cleaner bathrooms and keep the premises clean to avoid dust from the ongoing highway work.

We found this place on NH 4 while our road trip from Goa. The restaurant is good and pool side. The food is really really delicious but a bit costly. Staff is polite but service is slow. This place needs maintenance, as pool was dirty and washrooms were also dirty. We had to request the staff to clean it to use it. The management should take a note of it. Evreything is good about this place including the bar, but maintenance and hygiene is poor. There are also mosquitoes

It was a well built resort but felt it was not maintained well for the price they are charging for per day. Didn't get hot water supply in bathroom and no power plug for the TV and set top box both together. Location is on the highway which was very convenient. Very friendly staff and good service.

I stayed here with my family for a night on our way to Goa. The rooms were not that great but for the price (2k) we paid we can't complain as well. However, they could have controlled the insects and mosquitos in the premise and in the rooms as well. The location of the hotel was very convenient for us as it was on the highway side. The dinner and service were also decent, and the staffs were very polite. However, they do not provide breakfast at the hotel and there are no good restaurants also nearby. Overall, it was a stay without any complaints since it just served the purpose as we just wanted to rest one night on our way to Goa from Bangalore.
