Me and my friend travelled to this place recently from Hyderabad. We stayed here on 26-01-2024. Location is Adventurous..Better to reach there before sunset. Rooms are okay for the location. Service is really great they are very kind and generous... Views are amazing.. i am very happy with overall experience.. Disclaimer : This is not a paid review.

My friends and I had a very bad experience in the stay as the owner was not co operating as there was no water to do our basic chores. The service was below par and they charged a huge amount for the services that were very bad in general. The owner also told us to co operate due to the lack of water supply and told us to pay extra inspite of all the issues. The quantity of food provided is very less. The staff is also not cooperative and don’t provide the basic needs when necessary. Overall a very bad experience in the stay If you are looking for a good stay please choose this one.

My friends and I had an extremely disappointing experience at this homestay. Not only was there no water or electricity, which made the stay unbearable, but the owner's rudeness added made the experience even more worse, he expected us to adjust without water for 2 days and so on. It's incredibly frustrating to pay for a place that lacks basic amenities and to be treated poorly on top of that. I strongly advise you to look for an alternative stay.

Not sure who are giving 5 star rating to this place. Most of the reviews looked cooked up as they hardly gave 2 or 3 overall reviews..., Firstly this are just ordinary rooms with no heater, no hot water no one to receive once a guest arrives. There is no proper approach road to this place. Bathroom doors do not lock, cats and dogs roaming freely, no working TV . Food is ridiculously expensive and just not upto the mark....please rethink before you opt to stay here..we left the place day 1 , even though we booked for 2 days... pathetic experience.

I booked this homestay prior to visit chikmangalur. We (me, my wife and my 12 years old daughter) reached this homestay around 5:30 pm in the evening as we returned back from Gokorna. Road was really pathetic and scary. When we reached the homestay I called the owner, he replied to send caretaker and we are waiting, meanwhile 2-3 boys just surrounded our car and asked us to get down from car and looking to my daughter. I am so scared that without any further think just leave the place immediately as my family safety is matter and no other tourists were there. I don't feel this place is safe for stay with family specially at weekdays.

I have booked this place for 4 days for marriage purpose. Firstly they sent me the location which is near to the city 7 kms away, when we went their actual property is still far 18kms from the location they sent. No proper roads, No proper facility, No Proper service. If you need anything in emergency you have to go to City it's about 18kms it takes around 50 minutes. Even Google maps got confused. The owner is very harsh. If anyone needs to stay in Homestays there are lot in Chikmagalur city outskirts nearby you can go there. Never visit this place definitely you will suffer.

The location is very good with good scenic beauty. it is located just 12 kms away from the main city. However, the rooms need to be more properly maintained alongwith the availability of electricity and hot water as these are one of the basic amenities. electricity went out and didn't come for about 12 hours. the helpers were quite good but lacked professionalism. Overall, they can be better is what i believe.

I recently visited the homestay and I absolutely loved it. It is located in between the hills and has a mesmerizing view of atleast 3 peaks which are a treat to the eyes. The rooms were also clean and the food was top notch. The service was awesome, and they even arrange for a vehicle to travel the mountain terrains if you request one. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and am looking forward to visiting it again soon.
