Deepak, the owner, and his dedicated team are excellent hosts, always attentive to every detail and eager to cater to guests’ needs. The food is delightful, with authentic Kerala-style Sadya served for lunch and dinner, and an amazing breakfast included in your stay. For the adventurous, jeep safaris (day or night) can be arranged upon request at an additional cost. We had an amazing stay at Mudhouse-Nature Tones in Marayoor. Johin and his family were incredible hosts, making sure all our needs were met. The food was delicious, and they went out of their way to cater to our preferences. We were a group of six adults and three children, including an infant and a toddler, and all of us felt completely comfortable throughout our stay. We booked both the mud house and the tree house, and both were spotless, with large, comfortable beds. The location was beautiful, and Johin thoughtfully planned our day trips and stayed with us throughout. The theme “For Family, By Family” was very fitting, as Johin and his family made us feel like we were with family, away from home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway!

The mud houses are tastefully done . Our host Mr Johin was excellent at his service, apart from making us feel comfortable, he also helped us in exploring marayoor, took us to some unexplored places away from all the crowd. This place is an experience one must have, if you are looking to stay in a mud house

This trip was one of the best experiences I have ever had. It was unplanned and a last minute Decision but I’m glad we decided to go. Mr Johin has set a new standard for hospitality. We have never met anyone who is so rich in character and has acquired intense knowledge about wild life, conservation, cultures and history. We were lucky that he was also a photographer which meant he shared our passion for adventure and exploration. He made sure we were fed with the tastiest home made cuisines at his Mud House and the rooms we stayed in were kept in pristine conditions with careful attention to detail. He even took time out of his day to accompany us to various places around Munnar and Mayanoor that are less frequented by tourists giving us a back door pass to God’s own country. Whole heartedly recommend staying here. Will definitely be visiting every chance I get.

A perfect getaway from a busy life. This place is so calm and serene. It is best for family. The hospitality and welcoming was great. Mr. Jo is an extremely knowledgeable person and he was guiding us the whole time. The food we ate is home cooked by their family, it was delicious with many varieties to have. Also this place is budget friendly. The atmosphere is very mind relaxing. Overall, Thanks Mr. Jo for giving this wonderful stay and experience.
