Genuine and long truthful review - Worst Experience Ever – Highly Disappointing Stay at Monte Verde, Dehradun (Please don't believe any good reviews as most of them are fake and simulated via online money makers) Room - AC Deluxe room with working desk Vacation type - Family vacation including 1 senior citizen and 1 kid. Location (good) - near to pacific mall Price per room per night (online/MMT) - 900/- Price per room per night (offline) - 1500/- Actual dates of stay = 26-27 October Staff members = seems like 12th passouts as behaviour of talking was not good and in an arrogant manner My stay at Monte Verde, Dehradun was an absolute disappointment. The room quality was terrible — it had a foul, unpleasant smell and no windows or ventilation at all, making it suffocating and unbearable. It felt more like being trapped in a closed box than staying in a hotel room. The lift was not working, which was extremely inconvenient. To make things worse, the basic amenities that were clearly mentioned on MakeMyTrip — like toiletries and complimentary mineral water — were completely missing. There was no support for food or even basic service throughout the stay. This property is completely misrepresented online and does not deliver even the minimum comfort or hygiene expected from a decent hotel. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking Monte Verde, as it’s a waste of money and a highly unpleasant experience Such low grade hotels are sponsored and recommended by "MakeMyTrip" so don't go for such recommendations given by MMT while booking. Best advice for booking any hotel - read reviews on atleast 3-4 platforms and focus on longer reviews like this to get detailed picture before suffering at later point of time. Most of the good reviews which are short are sponsored and professionals write those to earn money in shorter period of time

The hotel's location is excellent. The rooms were very clean, and the ones with balconies were especially nice. The bathroom was very clean, and the balcony offered panoramic views of Mussoorie. The property is brand new and I don't think I will find such a good room anywhere else at this price.

I was invited to Monte Varde Hotel by a boy who told me he had informed the reception that his friend (me) would be coming. When I reached the hotel to meet him, everything seemed fine initially. However, shortly after, two unknown boys approached me and said, "Check-out time is over." They then started questioning me aggressively, asking, "Where are you from? You don’t have a booking here." They claimed to be part of the hotel staff, but they weren’t wearing any uniforms or carrying any ID. The situation escalated when they began threatening me and demanded money from me. I was shocked and frightened by their behavior. Immediately, I went to the reception to report this incident. Unfortunately, the hotel staff showed no interest in my complaint. They refused to check the CCTV footage to confirm who those boys were or whether they were actually hotel staff. No action was taken, and I felt completely unsafe and unsupported by the hotel. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I request the management to take strict action and investigate the matter properly.

I recently stayed there from 17th to 21 July. Receptionist Shukla ji was very cooperative and professional. Rooms were pretty good and at such an affordable prices that too at walking distance of Pacific Mall. A must stay and 5 star in all terms 🙌🏻 just keep the property maintained as it is right now then it’ll be a good business growth.

Poor services ,No kitchen in the hotel and Kitchen staff took at least 50minutes even for Bringing one cup of tea. Worst place to Stay in Dehradun
