We stayed in the old building for 2 nights. Traditional decoration but rooms and facilities are quite tired. Low pressure hot water but have heater air conditioning. Wifi is also weak! Plenty of restaurants and a small supermarket nearby for fresh fruit

我们在老建筑里住了两晚。装修传统，但是房间和设施都比较陈旧。低压热水但有加热器空调。无线网络也很弱！附近有很多餐馆和一个小超市，可以买到新鲜水果

Overall best stay in Tibet. Luxurious rooms, thought-out room ergonomics and design, air conditioning is beyond great. All the comfort I needed during my journey.

总的来说，在西藏最好的住宿。豪华的客房，经过深思熟虑的房间人体工程学和设计，空调非常棒。旅途中我需要的所有舒适感。

We stayed in the new block of this hotel. Amenities were very modern. There was central heating which worked well, lots of hot water in the shower, and even a bathtub. The bed was pretty soft. The rain shower fitting didn’t work perfectly but the other shower head was just fine. You can pay to have oxygen pumped into your room. Breakfast was decent. Would definitely recommend. Staff doesn’t speak English, but if you have a translation app ready to use it shouldn’t be a problem.

我们住在这家酒店的新街区。设施非常现代。中央供暖系统运转良好，淋浴间有大量热水，甚至还有浴缸。床很软。花洒淋浴装置不能正常工作，但另一个淋浴头很好用。您可以付费将氧气泵入您的房间。早餐很不错。肯定会推荐。工作人员不会说英语，但如果您有可供使用的翻译应用程序，那应该不成问题。

The bathroom wall in a 2-bed co-ed room is translucent. The wifi does not work. The "hot tub" has no hot water. The room phones are broken. There is no a/c, even in summer.||||The last hotel I stayed in had toilet-showers, and it was still more comfortable than this one. Among the worst hotel experiences I've had over 5+ years in China.||||We were told this is a 5-star hotel. They lied about numerous amenities. Tripadvisor should change their reviewing system to allow a 0 rating, since the minimum rating of 1 is too high for this hotel.

两床男女混合客房的浴室墙壁是半透明的。无线网络无法使用。 “热水浴缸”没有热水。房间电话坏了。没有空调，即使是夏天。||||我住的最后一家酒店有厕所淋浴，但还是比这家舒服。这是我在中国 5 年多以来经历过的最糟糕的酒店经历。||||我们被告知这是一家五星级酒店。他们对许多便利设施撒了谎。 Tripadvisor 应该改变他们的评论系统，允许 0 分，因为 1 分的最低评分对于这家酒店来说太高了。

The moment we checked into Gesar Hotel, I find the interiors...almost all doors, fixtures, walls, and decor etc, all in quirky traditional tibetan styles. And what a pleasant surprise then the rooms & beds are designed for one to feel like a page on their history books. Well worth what is being paid for, definitely. ||The only one thing is that the lightings of the common aisles & walk-ways in the hotel are switched on/off automatically by motion-detecting devices. Makes your walk to you room kinda eerie. Otherwise all thumbs up. Breakfasts are reasonably good.

当我们入住格萨尔宾馆的那一刻，我发现里面的内饰……几乎所有的门、固定装置、墙壁、装饰等，都是奇特的传统藏族风格。令人惊喜的是，房间和床的设计让人感觉就像历史书上的一页。绝对值得所付出的代价。 ||唯一的一件事是酒店公共过道和走道的照明是通过运动检测装置自动打开/关闭的。让你走向房间的路有点怪异。否则大家都竖起大拇指。早餐相当不错。

The hotel looks better on the pictures than in real. At the reception during check-in, ONLY Chinese speaking staff. Room sizes are fine but everything looks old, shower is not attractive. The place was clean on the surface but don’t be too picky in the corners… We’ve first been given a room (end of the corridor) having 1 window on the inner side of hotel which had a view blocked by a wall 30 cm further! ridiculous. We’ve ask to switch room and got one on street view (has car/buses/truck noise though). Decoration in the room is very colorful. ||FYI tiny bottle of water/coke can/orange juice can from the room is 10 RMB although no price list available! They will charge you for it.||Breakfast is included and will be in the restaurant next door: Chinese breakfast (but also toasts and cooked eggs available)

酒店在图片上看起来比实际更好。办理入住手续时，接待处只有会说中文的工作人员。房间大小不错，但一切看起来都很旧，淋浴也不吸引人。这个地方表面上很干净，但不要对角落太挑剔……我们首先得到了一个房间（走廊的尽头），在酒店的内侧有一扇窗户，视野被墙挡住了 30厘米进一步！荒谬的。我们要求换房间，并得到了一间可以看到街景的房间（不过有汽车/公共汽车/卡车的噪音）。房间里的装饰非常丰富多彩。 ||仅供参考，房间里的小瓶水/可乐罐/橙汁罐是10元，但没有价目表！他们会向您收取费用。||早餐包含在内，将在隔壁的餐厅提供：中式早餐（也提供烤面包和煮鸡蛋）

We reached this hotel that was booked through our travel agency. It could not be our first choice, with long aisles and empty rooms, at least in the building that we stayed. The deco is cheesy from the western point of view, but really well equipped.. We were in December, so at least was good to find hot water and a good hot AC. No English at all. The breakfast is amazing… Good for one night, or two. Enough to visit Shigatse.

我们到达了这家通过旅行社预订的酒店。它不可能是我们的第一选择，因为过道很长，房间空荡荡，至少在我们住的大楼里是这样。从西方的角度来看，装饰很俗气，但设施真的很齐全。我们是在十二月，所以至少很高兴找到热水和良好的热空调。根本不会英语。早餐很棒……适合住一晚或两晚。足够游览日喀则了。

This hotel situated at the heart of the cut, has the Tibetan touch to the rooms. Huge rooms with multi coloured ceiling attracts the attention .||||A nice lobby, a very spacious restaurant , good ambience, not so bad free wi-fi connection are the main pros. They won't give free water is one con worth mentioning.||||A park and a market near by makes you busy in the evening.

这家酒店位于市中心，客房具有西藏风格。巨大的房间和多彩的天花板吸引了人们的注意。||||漂亮的大堂、非常宽敞的餐厅、良好的氛围、不错的免费无线网络连接是主要优点。他们不会提供免费的水，这是一个值得一提的缺点。||||附近的公园和市场让你晚上很忙。
