During our recent trip to Tibet, we were very pleased to stay in this true “heritage hotel”. It was built in 1838, and the former residence of 11th Dalai Lama’s parents. Its Tibetan style decoration, courtyard, garden … gave us a special feeling of history.|Our rooms are spacious and clean. Each room has a private bathroom with 24/7 warm water. It has a restaurant where we tasted a high quality Tibetan cuisine. All the staffs are local Tibetan. They are always very helpful and their smiles make you feel warm and welcoming. Its location is top: in the heart of old Lhasa city and only 5 minutes walking distance to Jokhang and Ramoche temples. Many restaurants and shops are all at an easy reach. If you prefer a modern, western style, luxury hotel, this may not be something for you. But if you want to surround by a typical, traditional Tibetan atmosphere with modern comfort, here is the place to be. Only reminder: as the whole property is kept in its original form, the stairs are steep and may not be suitable for some travellers with certain difficulties.|By the way, our trip was arranged by the current owner of this hotel - Tibet Wind Horse Adventure (Lung-ta). According to our interests, time, budget and physical condition, they helped us to plane a route combined with visiting several important Buddhist temples and as well experiencing the beauty of nature. Our guide Dawa is so knowledgeable about Tibetan history and Tibetan Buddhism that his explanations drastically enriched our Tibet experience. He speaks besides Tibetan, fluent Mandarin, French and English. Later, we learnt that through their years’ experiences for national and international travellers, the agency has built up a team of professional guides who are specialised in different foreign languages. They have developed various cultural tours and trekking adventures, which look very attractive.|My friends and I are looking forwards to our next Tibet adventure!|

在最近的西藏之旅中，我们非常荣幸地入住了这家真正的“历史酒店”。酒店建于1838年，曾是第十一世达赖喇嘛父母的住所。其藏式装饰、庭院和花园……都让我们感受到浓厚的历史气息。我们的房间宽敞干净，每间客房都设有24小时热水供应的独立浴室。酒店餐厅提供高品质的藏式菜肴。所有员工都是当地藏族人，他们热情友好，笑容可掬，让人倍感温暖。酒店地理位置优越，位于拉萨古城中心，步行5分钟即可到达大昭寺和拉莫切寺。周边遍布众多餐厅和商店，出行十分便利。如果您偏爱现代西式豪华酒店，这里可能不太适合您。但如果您想要体验充满传统藏式风情又不失现代舒适感的酒店，那么这里绝对是您的理想之选。温馨提示：由于整栋建筑都保留了原貌，楼梯较为陡峭，可能不适合部分行动不便的旅客。|顺便一提，我们的行程是由这家酒店的现任老板——西藏风马探险（隆达）安排的。他们根据我们的兴趣、时间、预算和身体状况，帮我们规划了一条路线，行程中既参观了几座重要的佛教寺庙，也让我们领略了美丽的自然风光。我们的导游达瓦对西藏历史和藏传佛教非常了解，他的讲解极大地丰富了我们的西藏之旅。除了藏语，他还会说流利的普通话、法语和英语。后来我们了解到，这家旅行社凭借多年服务国内外游客的经验，组建了一支精通多种外语的专业导游团队。他们开发了各种文化之旅和徒步旅行线路，看起来非常吸引人。|我和朋友们都非常期待下一次的西藏探险！|

This was the home of the 11th Dalai Lama's parents. It is beautifully decorated in the Tabeten style. The rooms are around a courtyard and are spacious with modern baths and amenities. The rooms are not heated or cooled. We were there mid Sept. and it got cold at night so were given a large space heater and extra duvets and were very comfortable. Breakfast is an egg, toast and yogurt vegetables and no coffee. It is in the old section of Lhasa, so you are in the heart of historic Lhasa, and you really feel a part of it in this wonderful, colorful hotel.

这里曾是第十一世达赖喇嘛父母的故居，装饰精美，采用塔贝丹风格。客房围绕着一个庭院而建，宽敞舒适，配备现代化的浴室和各种便利设施。房间没有暖气或空调。我们九月中旬入住，晚上有点冷，酒店提供了大型电暖器和额外的羽绒被，让我们睡得很舒服。早餐是鸡蛋、吐司和酸奶蔬菜，不提供咖啡。酒店位于拉萨老城区，置身于历史悠久的拉萨中心地带，在这家美妙多彩的酒店里，您真的能感受到这座城市的魅力。

After travelling by train from Shanghai to Lhasa, we were staying in Yabshi Phunkhang Heritage Hotel which is the family home of the 11th Dalai Lama's family. During the first night we were put into 2 rooms on the groundfloor in the back yard. The rooms were not too clean, rather small (12 sqm) and loud, due to adjacent neighbours outside of the hotel playing card games until the wee morning hours. The next day, we were shifted into the 1st floor (Chinese 2nd floor) and got large and clean rooms of 20+ sqm. The hotel is perfectly located to venture into old Lhasa by foot (3 min to Barkhor and Jokhang Temple). People are friendly and trying to accomodate your wishes. During our stay the Hotel was partly booked7occupied by a Chinese filmcrew shooting a historic drama with the backset of the Hotel. In all a fantastic stay. Maybe just one remark, the breakfast could have a wider choice and a bit higher quality.

从上海乘火车抵达拉萨后，我们入住了雅施普康遗产酒店，这里是第十一世达赖喇嘛家族的故居。第一晚，我们被安排在后院一楼的两间房里。房间不太干净，面积也比较小（12平方米），而且很吵，因为隔壁邻居在酒店外打牌打到凌晨。第二天，我们被安排到了二楼（中国式的二楼），房间宽敞干净，面积超过20平方米。酒店位置极佳，步行即可轻松游览拉萨老城区（距离八廓街和大昭寺仅3分钟路程）。酒店员工热情友好，尽力满足客人的需求。在我们入住期间，酒店部分区域被一个中国电影摄制组占用，他们正在酒店外拍摄一部历史剧。总的来说，这是一次非常棒的住宿体验。或许唯一的小建议是，早餐的种类可以更丰富一些，品质也可以再提升一些。

This boutique hotel oozes charm and atmosphere, which, considering its heritage, is no surprise.||The stairs are steep, as they are in all traditional Tibetan homes and monasteries so it is not suitable for more frail travelers or small children. The traditional architecture has been maintained but coordinated with modern bathroom features and excellent heating.||It is pricey by comparison with what else is available in Lhasa but it is without comparison in terms of atmosphere and history. If you wanted to make an historical movie about Tibet, this is the sort of building that would be chosen to feature in it.||The staff are friendly and the young women struggled with some very heavy bags up several flights to our top floor room before I could stop them.||Rooms are clean and exceptionally well maintained, as is to be expected. The food in the restaurant is fine and it is worth a meal just for the atmosphere.||Location is perfect for the Barkhor and the most authentic part of Lhasa as the back door from the courtyard opens directly onto the old streets.

这家精品酒店散发着迷人的魅力和独特的氛围，考虑到它的历史底蕴，这并不令人意外。||楼梯陡峭，正如所有传统的藏式民居和寺庙一样，因此不太适合体弱的旅客或幼儿。酒店保留了传统的建筑风格，并巧妙地融合了现代化的浴室设施和优质的供暖系统。||与拉萨其他酒店相比，这家酒店的价格略高，但就氛围和历史而言，它无可比拟。如果您想拍摄一部关于西藏的历史电影，这绝对是理想的取景地。||员工热情友好，几位年轻的女服务员费力地把我们沉重的行李搬上好几层楼，送到我们位于顶层的房间，我还没来得及阻止她们。||房间干净整洁，维护得非常好，正如我们所期待的那样。餐厅的食物不错，光是那里的氛围就值得一去。||酒店位置绝佳，方便前往八廓街和拉萨最具原汁原味风情的区域，因为从庭院的后门可以直接通往古老的街道。

The Yabshi Punkhang is beautiful and was originally built around 1838 for the family of the 11th Dalai Lama. The hotel is located in great part of town as it is right in the heart of the Tibetan Quarter. However, the rooms were way overpriced in my opinion. The standard room we had was $195 and did NOT include breakfast. The breakfast was an additional $8 per person. Since nearly all hotels in Lhasa include breakfast, this was a huge surprise to me, especially since the room was nearly $200!||||The most surprising thing to me is that this hotel is now Chinese owned and staffed (it used to be Tibetan owned, but not anymore). There is not 1 single Tibetan working in this former home of the Dalai Lama! I couldn't believe it! Our family prefers to support local Tibetan businesses when we visit Tibet and were quite surprised to see that the hotel employs no Tibetans at all.

雅布什蓬康酒店非常漂亮，最初建于1838年左右，是为第十一世达赖喇嘛一家建造的。酒店位于藏区中心地带，地理位置优越。然而，在我看来，房间价格过高。我们入住的标准间价格为195美元，而且不含早餐。早餐需要额外支付每人8美元。拉萨几乎所有酒店都包含早餐，这让我非常惊讶，尤其是考虑到房间价格接近200美元！||||最令我惊讶的是，这家酒店现在由中国人拥有和经营（以前是藏人所有，但现在不是了）。在这座达赖喇嘛曾经的住所里，竟然没有一个藏人员工！我简直不敢相信！我们一家每次去西藏都倾向于支持当地的藏人企业，所以看到这家酒店竟然没有雇用任何藏人，我们感到非常意外。

We stayed in the hotel for a week and felt really welcome and looked after. ||||The hotel has new owners and they just finished the renovations to the property. The rooms were beautifully decorated and so big. There were heaters in each room and the restaurant was nice and cosy. The dinning room even has floor heating! ||||The building is full of character and the staff always smiling and helpful. Illy coffee in the courtyard cafe in the afternoon sun is highly recommended. The hotel is in the middle of the old town, 5 minutes to the Jokhang Temple by foot. There are many small local restaurants in the area, and also many tourist restaurants with english menus. ||||We had a great stay and recommend this boutique hotel highly! Instead of staying in a concrete modern hotel, this hotel feels like a Tibetan home, and was the home of the family of one of the Dalai Lamas. Makes you feel extra special...

我们在酒店住了一周，感觉宾至如归，受到了很好的照顾。酒店换了新老板，刚刚完成了翻新。房间装饰精美，空间宽敞。每个房间都有暖气，餐厅温馨舒适。餐厅甚至还有地暖！建筑本身就很有特色，员工总是面带微笑，乐于助人。强烈推荐在午后阳光下，于庭院咖啡厅享用一杯illy咖啡。酒店位于老城区中心，步行5分钟即可到达大昭寺。附近有很多当地特色小餐馆，也有很多提供英文菜单的旅游餐厅。我们在这里度过了非常愉快的时光，强烈推荐这家精品酒店！这里不像现代酒店那样冷冰冰的混凝土建筑，反而像一个藏族民居，而且这里曾经是某位达赖喇嘛的故居。入住这里，你会感觉格外特别……

ダライラマ１１世の家族が使用していた邸宅を改造し、ホテルにしたもので、部屋は通常のツインの２～３倍はある広さ。バスルームも広く近代的。チベット式を徹底している為の欠点もある（階段がまるでポタラ宮や大昭寺の階段のよう、鍵が使い辛い、部屋がやや寒いなど）が、立地は最高だし、屋上からはポタラ宮を見ることも出来る。レストランの装飾は美しく、肝心の料理も悪くない。なにより従業員が親切で英語も流暢。

这家酒店由一座曾属于第十一世达赖喇嘛家族的宅邸改建而成，房间面积是普通双床房的两到三倍。浴室宽敞现代。虽然酒店严格的藏式风格也带来了一些不足（例如楼梯与布达拉宫和大昭寺的楼梯相似，门锁不太好用，房间略显寒冷等等），但地理位置绝佳，从屋顶可以远眺布达拉宫。餐厅装潢精美，菜品也不错。员工热情友好，英语流利。

Directly booked the hotel for 4 nights, 2 weeks prior to my stay. They gave me a good deal after asking for discount and was looking forward to my stay at this historical building but when I checked in, I was in disbelief when the staff told me the room had been given to another customer who payed more than I did... After few minutes of complaining, they decided to offer me an upgraded room at the same price. I was impressed with how they handled it and so decided to let it go and patiently waited for almost 40 mins for the room to be ready. Checked out the next day and affirmed the original room that I booked to be available the following day when I will be back in Lhasa, but again, they failed to deliver... This time, they offered me the lowest grade room which was small, dark and cold...||It was already late and since I didn't want to spend my time looking for a different hotel, I ended up staying with them after making another complaint and negotiating the price of the room, but it was just unbelievable how they handled reservations. It totally showed how little they care about their customers and having to go through negotiations and long waits, they totally wasted my precious time in Lhasa. Yes, their decor is pretty, rooms are special with Tibetan style interior but their lack of basic service to assure reservation is totally not worth going through.

我提前两周直接预订了这家酒店，住了四晚。我要求折扣后，他们给了我一个不错的价格，我很期待入住这家历史建筑。但办理入住时，工作人员却告诉我房间已经给了另一位付了比我更多钱的客人，我简直不敢相信自己的眼睛……我抱怨了几分钟后，他们决定给我升级房间，价格不变。我对他们的处理方式印象深刻，所以决定不再追究，耐心等待了将近40分钟房间准备好。第二天退房时，我再次确认了预订的房间，并确认第二天返回拉萨时可以入住，但他们再次让我失望了……这次，他们给了我最低档的房间，又小又暗又冷……当时已经很晚了，我不想再花时间找其他酒店，所以在再次投诉并协商价格后，我最终还是住了下来。但他们处理预订的方式真是令人难以置信。这完全暴露了他们对顾客的漠不关心，不得不经历漫长的谈判和等待，白白浪费了我在拉萨的宝贵时间。没错，他们的装潢确实很漂亮，房间也很有藏式风格，但他们连基本的预订服务都做不到，实在让人觉得不值得。
