★5 of us spent our nightmare stay on 8/June/2014.||||Upon arrival, we were shepherded to what would be a lobby. Stone slabs and cement pillars were left on the floor of this empty shell of a lobby. There were 4 sets of metal scaffolding lying around. Thankfully, the lights were on. The dusty floor boasted vintage leftover meals of the renovation crew that even the colony of cockroaches and lizards ignore. No hotel staff could be seen.||||We had to leave our luggage bags there while our guide collected our room keys. There were two lifts. Only one was working. We had to hunt it down as there were no signages at all. So, we trekked through the debris-strewn would-be-lobby, luggage bags in tow - only to reach rooms full of cigarette smoke. It would seem that the rooms were never aired. ||||The rooms were decent-sized with so-so beds and beddings, and 2 velveteen upholstered arm chair flanking a coffee table that has a tea-making set. The bathroom facilities were reasonably clean. Access to hot water was not an issue. All spoilt by the stench of cigarette smoke puffing out from the aircon vents! Our travel agent, Dynasty Travel, should never have placed us ... or anyone, for that matter - there!||||The following morning, we had breakfast (I use the word generously) at the hotel's food outlet (it would be wrong to classify it a "restaurant'). It is housed in a building away from the accommodation wing.||||Pathetic looking buns, bland porridge, even blander veggie dishes - stare back at you in contempt. Yes, breakfast to die from ... not breakfast to die for.||||Oh.. each guest is entitled to 1 egg. Very novel ... if only it wasn't farcical.||||From my room window I sighted extensive rows of 8-storey dwellings that would easily house a substantial community of at least 2000 households. Surely the hotel have access to groceries that allow them to put decent food on our tables?||||Mercifully, there was a mini supermarket opposite the dining hall - where we had bought snacks the night before. That was our breakfast.

★★The lobby is nice, but large and mostly empty. It may have been recent remodel. Our room was in the same building as the lobby - it looked like hotel rooms may also be in an adjacent building. This was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever seen. I have never seen that many stains on a carpet. There were also visible particles of dirt and paper on top of the carpet. Bathroom was laid out well but walls near sink had several blotches of dried soap or toothpaste on walls. There were shoeprints visible on the bathroom floor. Bed sheets seemed clean but it is fairly dark in room so I could not be certain. There was a small portable sign on table that said no smoking in room but there were also 2 ashtrays provided. No minibar or fridge. The usual bagged slippers were provided but not in sealed bags and looked like there were some signs of wear on the slipper bottoms. In wall air conditioner and heater unit noticed but not used.||Free wifi in room but it was extremely slow on our devices.

★★★This is an average hotel, good for an overnight stay. As there were several places to visit after we left Leshan we had to spend a night at this hotel which the tour guide reckoned was the only ‘best’ hotel in the area before heading back to Chengdu early the next morning. ||The room was clean but quite small compared to the others during the tour. Buffet breakfast had the usual corn, potatoes, noodles, veggies, etc sufficient to last till our next stop for lunch.||The scenery of the snow-capped mountain in the far distance could be seen outside the hotel along the main road during our early morning departure.

★★★★We stayed here over night on our way from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou. For $38 per night, it was clean, comfortable and quiet and did not smell like smoke everywhere. ||||Breakfast was included and left a bit to be desired, but even the kids were able to fill up on fried rice and they could fry / scramble an egg for you upon request. Don't expect even three star accommodations, but it exceeded expectations based on location.

★★★Located in close vicinity of the town center, about 15 min walking, the hotel has a simple lobby and one elevator (apparently only 2 hotels in this town provide an elevator). Mid-size carpeted room with desk, good electrical outlets, 2 double beds, free in-room wifi, tiled bath with spacious shower and ample counter space. Quiet location with good sleep quality but it does not provide tissue paper (Kleenex) or bottled water and only scant toilet paper. Dinner served for this Chinese tour group was very basic and the breakfast was fairly dismal, even the Chinese tour members were grumbling, consisting of some Chinese food items, congee, tomatoes, peanuts and a limit of one egg per person, no juice, tea or coffee offered - definitely sub-standard but we are in a small provincial town.

★★★★Came with family on tour to stay in this hotel. Would say the hotel is not as bad as i have imagined. Room was acceptable, TV has no usb outlet; toilet was clean enough for an overnight stay. |Most of the room are twin rooms. There is air conditioning but no heater.

★★★Our tour stopped at this hotel for the night after a long day ride from Jiuzhaigou. It took us a while to find our room because they were doing construction and the receptionist did not tell us that you had to go out the front to another wing to find our room. The room was on the second floor (no elevator on that wing), sparse, functional but importantly, did not smell of smoke like many hotels in China. It was a cold night and the room heater was not warming the room adequately, but fortunately the beds had a heating pad that worked wonders. We could not get hot water from the showers until we called the front desk and found out you have to run the waters for a long time; even after that the water was barely warm. Breakfast was sub-standard but we expected that from reading other reviews.
