价钱还比较便宜，但是主的是标准双人间，感觉价格方面比较好。服务要差一点，服务人员少一点，办事效率还是比较高的，比如当时买车票，就会帮助给预定，服务也比较热情。空间比较大，大概有四十个平方。设施还比较全面，有电视机，但是没有网络。这个酒店停电多一点，服务员少一点。卫生做的比较干净，每天都会洗。周边环境也比较好，交通比较便利，坐公交车比较方便，门口就有公交车站，但是打车不好打。

日喀则定日县的萨迦宾馆，条件是比较简陋的。但是在珠峰周围，定日这样的一个小地方，能入住宾馆已经算是十分不错的条件了。宾馆的服务员清一色的藏族，很不错，比较的淳朴。

Sakya is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and its not a very developed town so considering this, the standard of the hotel was much higher than I had expected. The Sakya Hotel is located a 2 minute walk from the Monastery and theres a few small eateries around, but other than that the town has very little to offer foreign visitors.||||The hotel is similar to many others in Tibet - clean and functional. The bathroom looked great but turned out to have no hot water (and many other people in our group had no running water at all.) There were also multiple power outages throughout the evening. The beds were warm and linen spotless and we slept really well. ||||We had lunch in the hotel's adjoining restaurant which is actually quite elegant and clearly where the more affluent locals eat. However discovering a large metal nut in my toasted cheese sandwich would stop me recommending eating here. Our group buffet breakfast was hot, tasty and plentiful.

If you are reading this you are on your way to Mt Everest! Why else would you be staying here? :-) So if that's the case, you know that there are no Westin, Ritz or Marriott hotels in Tibet! Now that you aren't expecting that, this hotel does a fine job providing what you need: bed, roof, bathroom with western toilets and hot water. I had brought a bed liner for the whole journey and found my hotel room to be clean and did not use it here. Everything was sufficient no complaints above other hotels I stayed at along the journey from Lhasa. One quirk - more specific to the town, was the rolling blackouts... during peak hours. Overall-- Average. At least they had western toilets and hot water!

First, you come to Sakya most likely because you are en route to the Mt. Evrerest Base Camp. Sakya is located 25 km off the Friendship Highway and you must travel back to the Friendship Highway to continue out to the Mt. Everest Base Camp. WIth that being said, I loved Sakya due to its remoteness and authentic Tibetan culture -- not to mention the 1000-year old monastery in the town. The Manasarovar Sakya Hotel is probably the best place to stay in town for western tourists. The hotel is located just a block away from the monatery and offers rooms that are a bt on the small side. Our room on the third floor (no elevator) at the end of the hall had twin beds. The matresses were hard compared to western standards, but were okay if you could pad them up. The condition of the room appeared to be clean but needed some work to update it. The bathroom was small but had a western toilet. The downside of this place is that the hot water is solar heated so on the day we arrived it was cloudy. Therefore, we had no hot water and there was a sign posted in the lobby telling guests this. With no hot water to shower, the water was so cold that I could barely keep my head under the faucet to wash my hair. It had rained during the night and the next morning the snowline in the nearby mountains was probably only 500 ft. above the hotel to give you an indication how cold it can get. The breakfast the next mornng was plentiful and served buffet style. They had Tibetan foods and western style foods set out. The fruit plate was my favorite. All and all, I loved Sakya and would not hesitate staying at this hotel again. It's town is remote, there are few tourists (other than in our hotel I didn't see any other tourists in town), the hotel staff was very helpful, and the town is authentic Tibetan. I would rate this hotel as a two-star property. The rooftop view was beautiful and I wished I had time to hike up to the nearby fort. The walk along the ancient monatery wall, though, is not be be missed.

Sono stato sistemato in una dependance che riportava sulla porta l'iscrizione "Yuan Mansion", ma comunicava con il "Manasarovar" tramite un corridoio interno.||In camera le solite lampadine bruciate in puro stile cinese. In più la pendenza del pavimento della stanza da bagno era sbagliata, con lo scarico della doccia disposto nel punto più alto del pavimento: fare la doccia e avere 10 cm d'acqua che restano lì tutta la notte è tutt'uno. Poveretti gli albergatori, perché tutta quell'acqua chissà che bene fa alla struttura del solaio!||Considerato il luogo, culla dei Sakya'pa, antagonisti perdenti della corrente politica dominante dei monaci tibetani Gelug'pa, va bene così, il comfort di questo albergo è anche troppo.

我被安排在一个门上写着“元府”的附属建筑里，但实际上它通过一条内部走廊与“玛旁雍错”相连。房间里的灯泡都坏了，这是中国建筑的通病。更糟糕的是，浴室的地板坡度也不对，淋浴地漏竟然位于地板的最高点：洗完澡后，地漏里会积着10厘米深的水，一整晚都一样。可怜的酒店老板，谁知道这么多水会对阁楼的结构造成什么影响！考虑到酒店的地理位置——萨迦派的发源地，以及它曾经是格鲁派僧侣政治势力的竞争对手——这倒也无妨；这家酒店的舒适度甚至有点过头了。

Yes, the place is freezing, and basic, and there is no hot water in the shower, and the rooms are smelly. But that's really common enough for that part of the world. The good thing about this place: It's very clean; there is a water kettle, for tea and to fill up the sink for a wash with warm water; and best of all, there is an electrical blanket, to warm up the bed, and I really had the best sleep of my entire 10 day trip of Tibet. The restaurant is quite warm (if they keep the door shut), the food is good, and the service is friendly. I had a good stay.

This hotel is typical of many in Tibet. On our travels we found that the Tibetan owned hotels were floundering in the light of restrictions on foreign travellers.||||As many they are not the cleanest or the warmest but Sakya is a lovely town worth visiting if en route to Everest Base Camp (however the Chinese government is going to start charging £18 to access the town later on in 2016) but if you want to support local sustainable travel this isn't a bad option. Visit the nunnery when there, the monastery is lovely too but the nunnery was very welcoming, free and you can buy small items to support the nuns.
