I have stayed in Hou Hai 3 times and this is the best hotel there is there in my opinion. The pool is clean then food is great. We really recommend the sea food, best we had in Hou Hai. The staff are very friendly and even helped me to collect my Dad from the taxi area on Chris**as Day. The Solicious restaurant over the road is so good too! Rooms cleaned regularly, fresh towels and the view from our balcony was perfect! We will definitely return here again! I disagree with the 2 star rating completely!

One of the best places along the beach front. Rooms are clean and spacious. The shampoo, conditioner & body wash is good quality. Hotel provides you with pool towels. You can organise surfing lessons from without the hotel. You can use the washing machine free of charge.

Conveniently located on the beach. Beautiful view from the room and great swimming pool. Rooms are very spacious, but the floor was extremely dirty. We had to ask multiple times for the floor to be cleaned as well as clean towels, as the 'new/clean' towels had stains on. Not 1 person can speak a word of English and the 'restaurant' only caters for Chinese people.

位于海滩，交通便利。从房间看到美丽的景色，还有很棒的游泳池。房间很宽敞，但地板非常脏。我们不得不多次要求清洁地板和干净的毛巾，因为“新/干净”的毛巾上有污渍。没有一个人会说英语，而且“餐厅”只接待中国人。

The hotel is in a great location, just a few steps down to the beach. My only criticism of the outside area is that the pictures when booking the hotel showed sun loungers around the pool to relax on, these do not exist. In their place are high stools and tables. You can not lie out next to the pool to relax which is a shame as the pool is the best in Houhai. Some other things that let this hotel down are that it does not let you bring outside drink in, that is fine but please make sure to offer plenty of soft drinks as when asked we were told they only had alcohol! Great for some people but not for everyone. Another thing to note is to make sure you bring your own pool/beach towel as these are not provided. These things aside the hotel is in a great location and the double room with balcony was amazing.

Great location and sea view in Hou Hai. The swimming pool is small but nice and the bar is cool. Rooms are spacious and the balconies are totally worth it. The breakfast service could be better.

后海的绝佳位置和海景。游泳池虽小但很漂亮，酒吧很酷。房间很宽敞，阳台也很值得。早餐服务可以更好一些。

Huohai place is specially for surfing 🏄‍♀️ ppl The hotel is expensive rooms are small price are higher for the location! Breakfast is simple. I’m hotel rooms they don’t provide coffee or tea bags only water and coconut can drink. No lockers in rooms. Good stay for 2 nights. Not for family too noisy till 11pm to 11:30pm clubs bars.

火海是专门冲浪的地方🏄‍♀️ ppl 酒店很贵，房间很小，位置比较高！早餐很简单。我住的酒店房间不提供咖啡或茶包，只有水和椰子可以喝。房间内没有储物柜。住了两晚，感觉不错。晚上 11 点到晚上 11:30 之前不适合家庭，俱乐部酒吧太吵了。

There are no loung chairs by the pool (like the photos), only tables and chairs. You cannot bring in outside food into the pool area/eating area. I asked for a cup of ice and the servers wanted me to buy something. Also, repeat, awful, loud music is played all through the day. The same songs, over and over, day after day. Even when I asked for the music to be turned down, nothing was done about it. The pool is nice and the rooms are clean however I would not stay at this place again.

泳池边没有躺椅（如照片），只有桌子和椅子。您不能将外部食物带入泳池区/用餐区。我要了一杯冰，服务员要我买点东西。另外，重复一下，全天都播放可怕的、吵闹的音乐。同样的歌曲，一遍又一遍，日复一日。即使我要求把音乐调小声，也没有采取任何措施。游泳池很漂亮，房间很干净，但我不会再住在这个地方了。

Nicest place i stayed in Houhaicun so far with regards to room. The rooms are equivalent to 4 star hotel resort room . I had the deluxe on 4th floor. Elevator was nice to move with luggage . Not the cheapest, but if you do plan to have some restful nights and want to kick it in your room watch some movies this place is set up for that. The pool was very cold but still went in when sun was out.
