镇江明都大饭店

I have stayed in this hotel on every trip to Zhenjiang for the past 8 years. The hotel is always clean and daily breakfast is good. I always ask to stay in the building that has the breakfast room as this motel has another building about 100m away. Some rooms do smell of smoke, but in this one instance I have asked to be changed to another room, and the gladly assisted.

8年来我每次去镇江都住这家酒店。酒店总是很干净，每天的早餐也很美味。我总是要求住在有早餐室的大楼里，因为这家汽车旅馆距离另一栋大楼约 100m。有些房间确实有烟味，但在这一次，我要求换到另一个房间，他们很乐意帮忙。

This was truly a 5-star hotel in every way. We were shocked how nice the room was. We chose the one with the huge movie screen which was lots of fun. Amazing pool and gym. Breakfast was great. We will always stay here in that same room type when we return to Zhenjiang.

如果有停車他會主動幫忙洗車欸，真的很神奇。旅客通常是出差的，總體環境還算乾淨，就是有些擺設比較舊，早餐很豐富。

酒店離鎮江市区有一段路, 挺偏远的, 酒店的早餐很丰富, 不过其他体驗感一般. 服务什么还可以. 总体一般吧,

We (my husband and I) were very pleasantly surprised when we reached our room at the Mingdu Hotel in China to be able look out our upper floor room window onto a large field with animals grazing and in the morning see people washing the new highway and cutting and trimming the shrubbery along the thoroughfares. Our room was very quiet, well-appointed and immaculate and we found the beds very comfortable and the bathroom area large, well-lit with good counter and shower space. Our water pressure was good. The breakfast meal was well prepared, with many choices served in stainless steel chafing dishes in a serve yourself relaxed setting in a large new dining room where you could choose your own table. Dinner was the same. The Staff was not as multilingual as one would hope and unfortunately our knowledge of the Mandarin language was confined to just a few words, so that made eliciting information and directions from the staff difficult at times. Once you find your way around the hotel you are able to locate the elevator's juxtaposition from the main lobby more readily, something that was a challenge at first. Overall we were very pleased with our stay there and would return there again.

以價格來說，算合理，房間算大，接近幾家商場位置很不錯，最大的缺點應該是冰箱啦，但還好沒怎麼用，很謝謝商家提供的水果和飲料！

It's the usual up-market-like chinese hotel. Marbles everywhere, huge hall, not-keen to deails, etc. as usual in China. But, all in all, an average experience for sure better than expected.||Everything is there, although in chinese style. Good rooms, well furnished, clean, usual headhache witjh lights buttons as in many modern chinese hotels.||Also food is not bad. I had a business dinner here in a private room, fair food, nice room.||For who doesn't know china this hotel could appear not very acceptable. For who knows 2-3 tier citie in China, it's not bad, at least not a bad surprise.

OK, first clue-look at the picture-looks like an industrial, no imagination, no taste hotel put together with someone with zero imagination and way too much money, right? Let's go inside-it's a typical over-the-top lobby with Kenny G music blasting away. Getting the picture? OK to the elevators, which are strangely split into 2 sections, 2 elevators each. What a stupid design. Now to the room, looks nice at first glance, but very quickly one can see the place was built on the cheap. Surprisingly the bed was western style, but turn on the TV-yup, Zero English channels. Let's go take a shower-and almost zero water pressure. OK time for bed-except the cheap light interlock system failed, and lights strobed on and off all night. Taking out the key card should solve, right? Wrong-still keeps the strobe up. Call the front desk to complain? Good luck if you don't speak Chinese. Quiet rooms? No chance, maybe their lights were strobing as well, but heard people talking, flighting, and snoring all night. Breakfast must be OK, right? By Chinese standards, OK,but no better than a typical 3 star hotel.||||Really, if you want a 5 star hotel, go to the Crowne Plaza or Sheraton. If you want a basic economy place, go to Hanting or 268. But avoid this turkey if you can. Really.
