Awesome stay at Diveagar! Had good and tasty food. Stay was quiet and peaceful! Beach is on walking distance of just say 5 minutes. Rooms were clean and cozy. Bathrooms were in good condition. Had superb time here. There are few temples near by.

Best place for family groups of around 8-10 people. Located very close to the beach and equipped with great internet connection, a very good place for a weekend or a longer summer stay with kids and while being able to work. Homely food and warm people enable a long and comfortable stay!

Very well maintained property - 'Chet's Groove'. Booked a room for a night in December 2016. The booking process was quick and simple via AirBnB. The owner Neil provided all necessary details in advance. ||Location: The place is very close to the beach - maybe 5 mins walk. Right next to an ancient temple.||Rooms: The house has about 3 large rooms with decent furnishings. The bathroom has hot water, beds are large and comfortable. No Internet. TV with satellite DTH was available in the rooms.||Service: The caretakers are very courteous and prompt. The food served was very good, especially the fish fry. Being a small home-stay, we don't have many options, but the quality is very good. ||Parking: There is enough parking for the 3 rooms.||Points to note: Airtel has ZERO coverage in whole of Diveagar. So, plan accordingly.

Very close to the beach, nice surrounding and the bungalow is very well maintained. The cook is amazing and cooks nice seafood dishes. The bungalow is best suited for family trip or friends with headcount 8 to 10. We were 10 office colleagues and had booked whole bungalow. for 2 days. Looking forward to plan a trip with family again there.

NOT WORTH FOR MONEY. To be very honest the standard of the hotel is very low. You get very basic amenities. Food is ok. Rooms are ok. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Single person takes care of everything. But Hotel needs to upgrade themselves in all aspects. no maintainance at all for all the bedrooms - Showers are not working, TV not working, flush not working, AC temperature is set and cannot be changed through remote. Horrible place. Do not book it before checking the place personally. Owner would not attend calls once payment is made.

We decided at the last moment to make a quick trip to Diveagar. Considering that our travel dates were on a long weekend i.e 25th December, I didn't have a lot of options to choose from. Chet's Groove was the only hotel which was available. I paid Rs.3.5k for one night which didn't include breakfast. When we arrived, there was this care taker Santosh, who was promptly available for our service. He showed us all the rooms which were available and we picked up room no.3 which was bright and facing the main entrance. The rooms were clean and so were the toilets. It is just basic room and nothing fancy. You have a TV and AC but no wifi. The location of this place is excellent. Just a minute away from the beach. It is a decent option to consider if you do not wish to spend too much. The food served at the place was also pretty good. There are a few places to eat in and around this hotel, but you would need to place an order before you go there. Else they simply turn you down. Net Net it is a decent budget place to stay and relax. Since there is nothing much to do here, I recommend to go with family or friends with whom you can chill and unwind.

Pros||1. Location is great and quite tranquil.||2. Great view from room where we stayed. (Room no 3)||3. Food was tasty.||4. Staff was co-operative.||5. Rooms and overall place was clean.||6. Rate are reasonable for stay and for food as well.||7. Instant generator back-up.||||Cons.||1. No intercom or bell is there so every time you need to go down or call for any requirement.||2. Too much insects crawling around especially at night (even in room also).||3. Washroom taps and shower needs repairing or replace.||4. Very limited food options although it was tasty.

This place is very good for those who enjoy indoor sessions in addition to outdoor beach activities. Rooms are maintained very well and quality of food is nice. A special cheers to Santosh (Caretaker) for making the stay very comfortable.
