SaffronStays 7 Seas - Villa in Alibaug

We recently stayed at SaffronStays 7 Seas, Alibag for a family reunion. While we were excited about the trip and the property itself looked promising, there were a few serious letdowns that left us quite disappointed. To begin with, the food experience was far from acceptable, especially considering the extremely high prices charged. We’ve stayed in several premium villas before, but never have we paid this much for food that was so underwhelming in taste and quality. We gave repeated feedback to the chef hoping for some improvement, but unfortunately, nothing changed. This was a major letdown for a group that had gathered to celebrate and enjoy good time over meals. Second, the swimming pool was in a very poor state of cleanliness throughout our 2-day stay. Despite informing the staff multiple times, no one seemed to take ownership. At times we were told the filter was damaged, and at other times we were told it had already been fixed—yet the water remained visibly dirty. We had 5–6 children with us, and a pool in that condition is simply not acceptable. We’ve even shared a video of the pool to highlight the concern. On top of that, the attitude of some staff members was unusually defensive and at times borderline rude, even when we were making basic requests. For a staycation property that emphasizes hospitality, this sort of behavior is unexpected and reflects poorly on the overall experience. That said, the villa itself was well maintained, the rooms were clean, and the garden was lovely. But when it comes to food, amenities like the pool, and how guests are treated, this stay missed the mark. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and brings about the necessary improvements.

Stayed in Mid June 2025 1. We were not at all satisfied with the sales team and customer support team of StayVistas. There is no appropriate direct calling number and we had to email everytime to ask for a call back. Then the call would come after 4 hours. 2. There was no sync in conversation with the sales officer, chat bot and villa staff. All 3 gave different rates of food and then we had to submit proofs of conversation to the team. 3. Food menu was okay but the option to select was limited. Like just 2 items for breakfast. All this when the food charges were equivalent to a 4 star hotel. 4. Property Staff was good and cooperative. 5. Property was good and maintained but there were no amenities in the property even after charging a good amount for the stay. They had carrom, badminton and football. There were no recreational activites or sports which could be done. 6. Even when the food is limited and costly, there are strict rules to not bring outside food in the property.

This place was amazing. Just 20 minutes from the jetty! But also no far from the beach or grocery stores. The staff was helpful and the good was great! The rooms were well appointed, the garden with the cabana was stunning and we spent many hours relaxing and chatting outdoors with tea and pakodas! The dipping pool was ideal for a quick cool off. We will definitely go again soon!

We had a wonderful experience at 7 Seas, Alibaug with our whole family..its clean , quiet, kid friendly, and spacious. Also great value for money. The staff is so good and they cook up a variety of dishes. Open spaces and the pool are a luxury for Mumbaikars. Had a super relaxed time. Thank you

Saffron Stays 7 Sea is a serene retreat with spacious villas and exceptional service. The staff is friendly, and the food is delicious and homely. Ideal for a relaxing beach getaway. Highly recommended! Suggestion for Owner & Management: A full-time caretaker to serve meals in the evening and prepare tea in the mornings would further enhance guest convenience and comfort.

It is a fantastic property with a large beautiful garden, spacious entertainment area and lovely pool. It is a great home getaway spot, especially for larger groups, and families with kids. It was quiet, staff were super helpful and attentive.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning 7-bedroom villa in Alibaug, and it exceeded all my expectations! The property offers a serene escape just 15 minutes from Mandwa Jetty. The tree swings and sunken seating areas are perfect for relaxation, and the pool is a tranquil oasis. We enjoyed delicious homely dishes and a variety of curated in-house activities that kept everyone entertained. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet cozy getaway, this villa is a must-visit!

I recently had the pleasure of spending the weekend @7 seas villa, and it exceeded my expectations. The property is well maintained. The staff was attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely be back for another staycation in the future. Highly recommend!
