Rooms are good for family stay, taken good care of us by the family. We had some good food which was prepared. Celebrated our daughter birthday. 1km to Marari beach.

Marari Umapathi Beach Villa was perfect for our family getaway! Peaceful location, clean rooms, tasty home-cooked food, and truly warm hospitality. Just a few steps from the beach — we loved every moment. Highly recommended!

This has been one of our favourite home stays in India! We (two British female backpackers) were greeted by the host and his family with fresh juices and so much warmth! The rooms are lovely, clean and the AC is great. The location is 5 minutes walking from the beach and the huts themselves are surrounded by green which gives them a jungle feel and protects you from the sun when you’re relaxing. The free breakfast is delicious and authentic kerelan style. We decided to order dinner both nights from the hosts and were not disappointed. Rena is a fantastic chef. We wish this family and their homestay all the success, they deserve it!

We had the best stay at Umpathi beach villa! The family that run it are very hospitable and helpful, and Rena cooks the best breakfast and dinner! The villas are all self-contained- they are big, clean and comfortable, with AC. The terrace is surrounded by greenery which creates lots of shade. The location is good- easy 5 minute walk to Mirari beach which has loungers and food and drink options. This place is GREAT value for money, would definitely recommend staying here!

Very welcoming and accommodating. We stayed with our toddler and she absolutely loved it. We hope to one day be back so the girls can play together again one day!

This homestay is an absolute delight. A lovely keralan house with beautifully kept rooms that are cooled and shaded by the manicured garden. A short sandy walk to the beach and small shops. The room we had was large airy and immaculately clean with lots of space for luggage and clothes. A large bathroom with a very good hot shower. All the rooms have an individual terrace with a ceiling fan for breakfast and just lounging about. The family are lovely and accommodating. Probably the nicest stay in 3 months of travelling India.

We loved our stay here, the best homestay experience in Kerala! The family is the friendliest and can accommodate all your needs. They make you feel really at home. The garden is so beautiful, green and provides a lot of shade. The house is a traditional Kerala house, and the rooms are neat, cool and very clean. Internet is stable and fast. The beach is about 9 minutes walking on a quiet sandy beach road. The best part is the food they provide, breakfast and dinner is super tasty, healthy and big portions! We would definitely come back here again ❤️

The room here is good but bathroom didn't had big spider🕷, and lizard🦎..The shower gel got finished even I informed the management they didn't provide me.The management is friendly ,good and caring for tourists. My request for the management is give the room before checking and cleaning the room if needed changing bedsheets and comforter.The owner welcomed us in a polite and humble way. They even provide breakfast in morning if needed and transport if u don't have vehicle.The villa has good garden and they have maintained very well. Overall experience is good👍
