Ale Chojeke restaurant and homestay Durpin

The best thing about this place is the location: it's 5 mins walking distance from the Durpin monastery. That's the only good thing. The first room was tiny, but they suddenly made me shift because another guest created a ruckus. The second room was large, with nice windows but disgusting. It wasn't cleaned. I had no other option but to stay here. Service was absolutely lackluster as well. Didn't even feel like eating here after I saw the hygiene of the rooms, so I ended up eating chocolates and some momos from another place close by

We were staying in morgan house and we were looking for a place to eat outside..Google suggested this place we thought let's try it out...oh the location.!!!.. Its difficult to reach if u r walking... After reaching there we saw a cozy place.. good decoration but still was very much skeptical about the food so ordered Nepali tea and coffee.. the quantity and the taste both blew our mind . I personally liked it very much..then tried out spicy chicken sausage and paneer roll .. the decorations and the taste both were amazing .we didn't expect that much in that remote place. The whole walking was completely worth it. Felt really happy 😁

Spent 40 days with some of the lovely people i have ever met in my life. Cozy rooms, clean and calm environment. The food was unmatched and so was the service. Thank you everyone for making our stay memorable one. Pemba sir, Abhishek, Subham, Aunty, Ashish Daju, Maggi and Pheny, you all have a special place in our heart. Surely I went with little expectation but returned with bag full of happiness. Thanks a lot again and I am sure you will welcone each and every guest with same enthusiasm

Transportation is a huge problem. You literally have to walk uphill 10mins with luggage. On reserve car they will charge ₹250. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE. The place is very far from city centre because of this you only have one option for food. Which they will charge abnormally high and make thalis unavailable. E.g. price of tea = ₹30. Room is very small.

Unquestionably, Ashish ji is the best host we've ever come across. My friends and I have visited quite a few homestays before, but none can compare to the wonderful hospitality offered by Ashish ji. He took care of all our needs - from car transport from Siliguri to his homestay to delicious food from his restaurant, sightseeing transport for our entire trip, and even insider tips for places to visit. The cherry on top was the complimentary drive he took us on one morning; we got a breathtaking view of the Kanchenjunga range (the view point is only a five-minute walk from his homestay!) and several scenic spots at Durpin. He and his loving family (especially Pemba ji, our fun-loving chef) made our Kalimpong trip so very special. Ashish ji even organised a karaoke system for us on our last day in Kalimpong! This trip was and always will be an unforgettable experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Ashish ji.

मेरा पहला visit in this Restaurant. And i was shocked with a great dealing. Very nice and neat restaurant. Owner of this restaurant was a very nice person. And variety of meals was too much among with a different taste. Gudluck Ale Chojeke. Keep it up.

Delightful and authentic food served with a smile. A wonderful clean and quiet place to eat and stay. Very close to some amazing views and walks, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
