NillWe didn’t stay at Zostel since we were travelling with our 9 year old. We stayed at another resort nearby, but we ended up coming here for food all three days. The staff were super friendly and the food was really good. We especially liked that we could relax and take our time. You can easily spend two to three hours here without feeling rushed. I also struggled to find good meat options around the Hampi ruins, so this place was a real find for us. If you’re in Hampi exploring the ruins, I’d definitely recommend coming here for a meal. Don’t ruin your stomach by eating elsewhere! 😄

★★★★★This was one of the most wholesome trips I’ve experienced and one of the main reasons for that is the family which runs the place- Sharmilla & her sons took such good care of us and made sure our stay there was safe and memorable! |The property is nestled In the center of paddy fields and boulder mountains, a sight definitely worth seeing.|There is so much warmth and love in the designing and creating of the property that you will feel at home in every space there :) |The cafe at goan corner has extremely high quality food curated by a wonderful chef! Expect to be spoilt with love and affection, so don’t think twice before booking this place…it will be a trip to remember for sure!

NillThe food may have had potential, but the hygiene standards were far below expectations. The restaurant didn’t feel clean, and it affected our confidence in dining there. Cleanliness is just as important as good food, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the overall upkeep.

NillMy stay at Zostel Gangavathi, Hampi was honestly one of the highlights of my solo trip, What makes this place special is the people and the culture they’ve created. As a solo traveller, I was a little unsure at first, but I ended up meeting some amazing people and making memories I’ll genuinely remember. A special mention to Ali, the community manager, who made the stay even more fun by organising activities like night safaris, hikes, group games such as Mafia and many more activities which I didn’t get to cover because of the limited time I had but these activities made it really easy for me as a solo travellers to meet, interact and feel part of the community plus he has a great heart so the chai- coffee is on him Also shoutout to Amit bhaii, who was extremely cooperative, he had great energy It was great having someone around who felt more like a friend than just the owner of the property also a tip while hiking don’t match his route this guy has insane monkey like skills….The property is beautiful. But what I loved most was the culture. People from different places come together, explore, share stories and simply enjoy their time. For solo travellers, I’d genuinely recommend Zostel Gangavathi. You may arrive alone, but there’s a very good chance you won’t feel alone for long. I came to Hampi for the experience, and I left with new friends, great memories and a place I’d happily visit again also you get to se a peacock 🦚 dancing in front of your dormitory!!
