Ganga Resort, GMVNL

The view from the room is the best part of the stay and the only reason we chose this place. Otherwise its fairly average. The staff is good and polite and do their best. Room cleanliness, dripping water noise from bathroom and cleanliness overall need to be addressed. Breakfast options and management of the food also need to be improved.

A pleasant resort right at the banks of Gangaji, which had an amazing view from the first floor river facing rooms. We stayed there for 3 days, it had good service and helpful staff, though the breakfast quality could be improved and upkeep of the rooms could be better. Overall, good experience at the resort.

One of the worst gmvn here. Only good point is location. Rooms are in worst condition . No lights. They r not providing towel and toiletries. Don't risk yr trip by booking this resort online. Because on reaching location they are not giving proper room according booking. Their staff giving accuses that they have another customers who r staying here from last 10 days so they r not giving u room accordingly yr booking because u r going to stay for 1-2 days . Although u have done booking before 6 months. Apart from this the booking which they are giving offline doesn't show any records. They are money 💰🤑 eaters. Please gmvn management look after this. They r giving offline bookings without any records. They r demanding extra money. We had asked them to show the booking records bur they don't have any records to show. If negative ⭐ available than i want to give - 50 ⭐.

Booked deluxe room, this November 24. The room we got was without balcony. I was expecting a balcony one as shown in pic, but balcony ones got occupied sooner as we were late for checkin.It was a big and spacious room with good interior. The room offered garden view. Nonetheless it was scenic too. The super deluxe rooms which are on the first floor offer the best view of the Ganges. The hotel is located in a very beautiful locality near janki jhula. The food was good. Breakfast buffet is complimentary and it was tasty too. The service was also good. The resort is very big and spacious with good parking space. Earlier we used to stay near Ram jhula, but area around janki jhula and this resort is now our favourite. Had a good time at Ganga resorts.

The property is perfectly located , close to Janaki setu and has a great walking path along Ganga . The property as per GMVN is supposed to be one of their high end property but the maintenance is not up to the standards. The room walls had water patches and the bathroom doors wouldn’t close .

I stayed at Ganga resort from 13 September 215 September with single occupancy. The location is good, rooms are also good but the service is poor. the tariff is increased for Saturday and Sunday. the tariff is commercial but the service is very poor. The morning breakfast is complementary but only 3--4 items are served and they are also not up to the mark. See, now a days every body has got money, what we want is good service and good food, witch is of very low quality. I think the management should improve these things so that people may not say that this is government venture that is why the service is of low quality. I have heard saying people and blaming the government which is bad for the organisation.

Rooms require better maintainence. Food was homely. Location was very nice. There should be a board from the main road to show the location of the property.

Right on the banks of the Ganga is a superb place to spend days together. Get into whitewater rafting with an experienced guide. Tasty food and exploring the ghats and yoga centres
