This hotel is exceptionally well-kept, and the property itself is truly impressive. The food quality is noteworthy, with a variety of options available for breakfast. One minor drawback is its location at the top of a hill; however, the hotel offers convenient pick-up and drop-off services from Mall Road, which is a significant plus. The driver was incredibly polite and respectful. In terms of the surroundings, the garden and property area are vibrant and picturesque. Great rooms, views and food. It's a property from 1836 so fairly old but maintained very well. The service was really good as well. Went in Nov so reasonable rates . Is a little away from the mall road so you don't hear the hustle bustle of mussoorie. Would definitely stay again given the opportunity

An amazing property with loads of history attached to it. The service is wonderful and all the people working at the property were polite and well mannered! Absolutely loved this place and was wonderful walking around in the clouds almost every day! The property is kept clean throughout. This was a fantastic holiday to unwind and chill!

Excellent property ! We, a group of 5 friends for over 50 years spent 3 nights here. A Heritage property that has been very well maintained by the management. Friendly and Polite staff adds to the comfort. The food is also of high quality and sumptuous. They are located on the Mall Road Mussoorie and offer their own vehicle for descending from the hotel which is situated at a height that offers a panoramic view of the hill station as well as the Dehradun City at the foothills.

Pros: The property is very well managed, maintaining its heritage charm beautifully. The food served at the hotel is delicious and offers a good variety. The view from the hotel is stunning, providing a serene and picturesque backdrop. Cons: Uncomfortable Bed:The deluxe room had two single beds joined to make a large bed, which kept separating. This setup was not comfortable for a family and is definitely not suitable for tall individuals. I informed Santosh and other executives at the front desk about this issue, but no help was provided. Room Standards:The room did not meet the expected standards, especially considering the high tariff they charge. Additional Charges:They charge extra for baby milk and food, which is quite disappointing. Parking and Accessibility: Guests have to park their vehicles around 300 meters away at Library Chowk and carry their luggage to the pickup point. From there, you need to call the hotel for a pickup. On one occasion, I had to wait for 20 minutes and eventually had to walk all the way up, which was very difficult, especially given the hotel's hilltop location. Overall, while the property and food are commendable, the room comfort and accessibility issues need significant improvement to justify the premium pricing.

The place runs like a budget hotel, minimal staff, minimal spread of food, minimal amenities. The property is huge, staff is friendly and cooperative but the amenities are worse than a budget hotel. Neither it is maintained as per Welcome heritage tag.

I had a fantastic experience at this place! If you're thinking about booking a stay here, go for it—you won't be disappointed. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, the hospitality was outstanding, and the food was top-notch. This will definitely be my first choice if I visit again. A big thank you to the amazing team for making our stay so unforgettable.
