I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely retreat near Dhanaulti, on the outskirts of Mussoorie. This budget-friendly, aesthetic haven offered the perfect blend of serenity and convenience. By being slightly removed from Mussoorie's bustling crowds, we enjoyed a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. The breathtaking views from our stay were truly stunning, and the welcoming caretakers went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our visit. They took care of our meals and attended to our every need, making us feel right at home. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, and I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with a touch of elegance.

One of the best off beat experience I have had great rooms with best caretakers who cook delicious food at reasonable prices. Will come here for sure again.

It was a great and unforgettable moment for us as we stayed on 16 june in this property. It was the memoriable night of our vacation. At night dehradun was looking like the stars twinkling on the ground. Environment for children is superb. Staff is very cooperative. Food they served was as like as from the home kitchen. Thanks to Sandeep, on request he provided fresh local cow milk 🍼 for my 2years baby. Overall If you are planning a trip with your kid one's this is the safest, friendly, hygienic, and superb property. Thanks to "THE FAWN COTTAGE"

I stayed at this property on 16th and 17th June, had booked it well in advance directly thru the co-host (Shweta) / host of the property.. This was my 2nd time stay and this time was with family. I choose 2 rooms on the 1st floor as it gives great views and ample sitting area outside. When I checked in on 16th June, I noticed that the ground floor was occupied by another family and from there all the trouble started... The family had 5 adults and 7 kids aged around 4 to 13 years, and i was surprised that how can 13 members get adjusted in just 2 rooms and how did the host allowed this to happen... There was so so much noise that it gave me a feel of staying at a dharmshala rather than a cottage...Kids were just out of control... from making extreme noise to rining door bell again and again, just no peace... The property asks a premium price as per location but the experience was just worst than local... When escalated to co host thru which I got this booked, she said I am just the co-host and not the owner, she did apologized and gave feedback to the family but it seems it went all in vain... My vacation was spoilt and the co-host just said sorry, it was only me and my family who had to bear the brunt of extreme chaos... This could have been planned better by the host but it seems the host / co-host is just more interested in making money... I would not recommend this property to anyone unless you go for the entire cottage... Rest the location, caretaker, food, property are good.. But my experience this time was worst, will never book again...
