Fonseca's Beach Resort in Gorai Borivali

I recently stayed at Fonseca Beach Resort in Gorai, and it was a refreshing experience. One of the best parts of this resort is its location – it’s situated right next to the beach. During high tide, the water comes all the way up to the resort, giving you the feeling of staying on the beach itself. During low tide, the water recedes quite far, and you can actually walk or ride along the beach, which is a unique and enjoyable experience. The resort itself is simple and budget-friendly, perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. The rooms are basic but clean, and the atmosphere is very calm and natural. It's not a luxury place, but if you’re looking for peace, fresh air, and a beach vibe, this place is perfect. Overall, a great place to relax with friends, family, couple or even for a solo escape. I’d definitely recommend it for beach lovers!

The service is not even capable of earning 1 star. I had carried out booking of guest room with Booking ID: 351109 with an advance payment of ₹913.56. The response is poorest of any guest rooms I have ever contacted or stayed. The reception individual has zero professionalism, when questioned the way he speaking. Moreover, when asked to give owner’s or manager contact no, he bluntly refused. Even after paying advance, he didn’t attend the call when I reached near the hotel location as I was not able to locate through Google maps. Pathetic response ever encountered with zero professionalism and really disappointing. I would rather say keep the change which I had paid in advance. If the owner cannot take care of such business in a right way, should shut down. Have some shame!

Pros : Location, View and Property. They can get you autorickshaw within 10 minutes if needed. |Cons: Very Bad service. They say No to almost everything. |1. We asked for Panner dishes and Tandoor Roti, they said Tandoor is unavailable. How its possible in India that a restaurant doesnt have tandoor.|2. The food we had was not up to the mark, they serve only chapatis. Its takes ages to prepare and serve you the food.|3. We asked to blow air in kid's floating tube for swimming pool, they dont have machine for it.|4. You need to ask serveral times for a room service.

Lovely place. Good location though the approach could be better. Right in front of the beach. Very friendly and helpful team. Good food though a larger variety would be helpful. All in all good and definitely vfm

Definitely not worth the price. Influencers have created a fake image of the resort. None of the rooms give beach view. There are definifely better resorts in the same area charging less than Fonseca. The rooms are tiny and dirty. Staff is good. The attached restaurant Kardi and Crabs does not serve as per the name. All dishes are prepared in indo-chinese way. Taste is good though. Breakfast has very limited options. No toiletries in room except a soap.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE. PLEASE DONT GO HERE. The property is not managed or maintained at all. Rooms are dirty. The Pool is non existent and full of filth. Service is horrible. No breakfast given. No sanitary given. Food is bad. The instagtam photos give a very different picture of the property and it is literally the opposite of what you see on insta. The price that they charge us is atrocious to what we get there. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

Pros: - Good location, on the beach - Great ambience - Polite staff - Rooms are nice Cons: - The towel provided had ants. I was bitten multiple times after using the towel. This is not acceptable considering the price. - The chinese food we had for dinner here was too oily. Taste was nice, but the oil was way too much. Caused problems for both of us. - Our room had some mold / leakage stains in the corners If these cons were not there it would be a great stay. You may not encounter these if you choose to go, but make an informed decision.

The resort is okay over all. You will get lot of selfie points to click beautiful pictures. There is a small area for swing and slides, but was not clean. I was really upset after finding out the swimming pool water was not at all filtered. The pool water was very very dirty. My husband asked them to start the filter and clean the dirty, which they did irresponsibly. My husband removed the dirt, but still the water was not getting filtered. So no stars for swimming pool area. Rooms are small, toilets are not that clean.
