Our group of 6 from Raipur had a delightful stay at Sal Tree near Mukki Gate. The location is perfect for wildlife enthusiasts, being so close to the gate, and offering a serene, natural setting for relaxation. One of the standout features of the resort is the food—each meal was thoughtfully prepared and incredibly delicious, with plenty of variety to suit everyone’s tastes. What really made our stay exceptional was the dedication and hard work of the staff. The team was not only efficient in handling all requests but also genuinely warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their sustainable approach to hospitality also deserves praise—while there were occasional power outages, the team managed everything smoothly with limited power backup, and the resort made the most of its natural surroundings to create an eco-friendly experience. Even without air conditioning during the outages, the cool evenings and peaceful ambiance made for a relaxing stay. If you’re looking for a resort that combines natural beauty, great food, and an efficient, hardworking team, Sal Tree is an excellent choice. The staff’s attention to detail and commitment to sustainability make it a standout option for anyone visiting the Mukki Gate area.

Stayed here for 2 Nights, more than satisfied. The real strength of this property is it's location, which is very convenient, easy to visit everywhere from here. Clean and convenient rooms, room size is also quite big. Food is very good.😍

Don't go by the ratings and photos posted. The photos are old and the property is in diplated state currently. Rooms need urgent repair. Toilet flush not working geyser outlet missing. All the televisions not working. The property is managed currently by kids and no professional management in place. The so called manager always tells you 5 minutes for everything you ask and never responds back

Our stay at Sal Tree near Mukki Gate was truly memorable, not just because of the beautiful surroundings but also because of the incredible food. One of the highlights of our meals was the chicken curry, cooked in a delicious homemade style that reminded us of comfort food from home. The chapatis were served fresh, warm, and perfectly thin, just the way we like them. And the dal fry tadka was simply outstanding—flavorful and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail in every dish was evident, and it really elevated our dining experience. For anyone looking for authentic, homestyle food while enjoying a serene and comfortable stay, Sal Tree is an excellent choice. The combination of great food and the hardworking staff’s dedication makes it a place we would love to return to.

Couple of weeks ago i visited kanha with my family and our stay was at sal tree resort. Our experience here was nothing short of a nightmare. This resort lacks even the most basic standards of hospitality and comfort. The bathroom was a disaster, rooms had the broken windows which gave free entry to insects and the pictures online are a complete misrepresentation of reality. I strongly advise anyone considering a stay here to look elsewhere for accommodation in kanha.

My recent stay at this resort was a huge disappointment. Zero hygiene no maintenance at all. They have only one good room which they have uploaded the pictures on social media rest are very Average rooms with broken windows and dirty washrooms. The quality of sleep was also compromised due to the poor mattresses and the insects which came into the rooms because of broken windows. They do not have powerbackup their was constant powercut. There was no food for the people living in their resort when it was well informed to them that we are going for night safari and we will be late... Complete waste of money... Will never recommend to anyone..
