Abad Brookside Lakkidi | Resort in Wayanad

Had a wonderful stay at this Resort, all the services were top notch, staff were professional and made sure everything was taken care of, also just wanted to commend James, the restaurant manager James was very welcoming of my disabled father and accommodated him well. The disabled facilities at the resort were quite good, however getting to the restaurant was a bit tough by wheelchair. Staff was wonderful and i would 100 percent go again, food was excellent and the staff was nice and sincere.

Perfect place for family holidaying in December. Mist covered mornings, monkeys, giant squirrels, harmless elephants visiting the resort, elands, Brook, wow a tranquil abode. Very tasty food and great service at the restaurant especially call out to Mr James and team. The highlight of my trip was waking up to the sound of a tiger roaring.. from one of the forests nearby!! Worth IT!!

Pros: This property is stunning! The staff, service, and food were all excellent. The streamside rooms are a paradise for bird enthusiasts. Cons: The final 5 kilometers leading to the property is essentially an off-road stretch with gravel and stones. While locals navigate it effortlessly, inexperienced drivers and riders may find it challenging.

We stayed in the Brookside Room, a charming hut that offered a wonderful experience. The breakfast was delightful, though the dinner we ordered did not fully meet our expectations. Nevertheless, the stay was enjoyable, thanks to the serene natural surroundings and the ambiance. The walkway near the brook felt seamlessly blended with nature, adding to the overall charm of the place.

Located in a good place. Road to the property is half off-road type..But any car with good ground clearance with an experienced driver can go easily. Behaviour of the reception staff is pathetic.. they may blindly deny your requests..Not at all friendly. Property need more maintenance..they just run the property as it is..garden is good with lot of flowers..Brookside will be a good experience for those who not seen before. Bonfire is just for name sake..nothing exciting. . Night buffet dinner was very good especially Fish roast..so tasty..also staff at restaurant behaves well. Of you are ok with a 3 star experience you can opt for this..not recommended to stay more than 1 day as nothing special there apart from the natural sound from nearby jungle and monkey spots (behave of monkey and do not feed or go close to it..may attack 😳).

The Resort is in a Beautiful Location. Nestled between the Hills we found this place very peaceful and tranquil. Very well maintained and well planned so much so that each and every inch of this resort is filled with greenery! The garden has been so well done!! There is a gentle stream that flows and you really are very close to nature in every sense. You can see the misty peaks from this resort and early mornings and evenings this place is filled with Mist!! The Rooms were super clean and comfortable. The Room service was too good and the highlight has to be the Restaurant! The Food was absolutely Top Class and Delicious! Everything on their menu is done well! Try the Chicken Steak with Mushroom Sauce, Kerala Fish Curry and Fish Fry and I'm sure you will end up wanting more!! There is a little bit of off-roading in order to reach the resort but it is totally worth it!!

Wonderful stay for two nights at this amazing property. Nice peaceful and nature friendly ambience. Forest and a natural brook adjacent to the cottages adds to the value of the property. Good service and tasty food. Would love to visit again. They even arranged an early morning drop off for us . Thank u team Abad....
