Overall a pleasant experience. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Bathroom needs improvement as it looks very ageing and sanitary issues. The Outdoor and Amenities - cycling, boating, children play area are the main attraction point of this resort. All age groups can relax and enjoy with gorgeous surrounding and looks appealing. Food is good and so is the service with very polite staff and management. Overall a good resort to hang around and relax just on hour from Alleppey.

A lovely property with great amenities and beautiful water-facing cottages. The resort is situated by the backwaters, offering a peaceful and scenic environment. There are plenty of activities available, including carrom, chess, volleyball, badminton, and paddle boating. However, please note that the backwater boat ride is not complimentary and is priced at ₹800 for half an hour, which can be confusing for some guests. The food is good, and the service is excellent — the staff is friendly and always eager to help.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kalathil Lake Resort for 2 nights, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly, courteous, and attentive, making sure our every need was met. The location of the resort is breathtaking, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The food served was delicious and diverse, catering to various tastes and preferences. What truly impressed me was the resort's design and maintenance. This property is very beautiful and well maintained. The staff is very polite and helpful. We stayed here for a day and we truly enjoyed our stay.......I recommend this stay very much as it is value for money in true sense

A fairly good place for a kerala vacation. Nice property with multitude of complementary activities for kids.. Kids will really enjoy the place. The cottages are a bit old, but they are well maintained. The ambience is good, but this isnt the best you can get in kerala. The service is fairly good. The food is also good, nothing extraordinary, but can live with. The breakfast spread was mediocre, couldnt find even the usual sausages... 🤣 The dinner buffet was also mediocre and we did ala carte.. Each dish was actually delicious. The food per se is not too costly and reasonably priced.

The resort is well located. Rooms are neat and clean, slightly compact though (of course, the ones in which I stayed!). The quality of food is really very good. It is a good place to stay for a family holiday.

Stayed here for a day and it was quite well spent. Check in was smooth and the staff was attentive and courteous. Opted to book this property instead of staying in a houseboat was a bold decision as the property has so many things to offer. Only drawback is that this property is situated a bit far from the kumarakom lake from where you can get shikara boats for backwater surfing. The rooms were quite big and spacious along with neat and clean washrooms and a separate dressing room. Every room has equipped with vintage furniture along with a huge veranda. The property has a huge lake and they provide peddle boats to roam in the lake which provides a memorable experience specially during sunset. They have a decent size swimming pool too along with some kids playing activities like some jhoolas and a small zipline. They also provide a shikara boat tour on a chargeable basis, however the charges are a bit high. The food at this property is quite decent. In dinner they have both veg and non veg options. Their breakfast was amazing with plenty of options to try. Overall had an amazing experience at KALATHIL LAKE REAORT.
