Lakefront Beach Homes is an absolute gem for anyone seeking peace and quiet by the lake. The tranquil garden on the lake shore quickly became my favorite spot, with its stunning views over the lake and a calmness that’s hard to find elsewhere. I spent hours working on my book, soaking in the serenity. What made the stay even better was the host’s exceptional warmth and friendliness. From the moment I arrived, she went out of her way to ensure I felt welcome and had everything I needed—it truly felt like visiting an old friend. While the beach is nearby, it’s not the cleanest or most pleasant, so I didn’t spend much time there. But honestly, the peaceful lakeside setting more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat with gorgeous views and an incredibly kind host, this is the place to be!

Shari, Sarath, their family, and the wonderful team they work with made my stay in Lakefront really special. Always greeted with happy & infectious smiles, in a tranquil, relaxed atmosphere. Nice healthy vegetarian Indian food. The morning yoga session is in a beautiful unpretentious setting. Thank you to all of you for your kindness. Gillian.

We loved our stay here. Kids loved the pool and the beach. Rooms are nice and clean. The hospitality by the staff was absolutely amazing. Food served was so nice. Location is amazing, facing the back waters and beach only a minute walk away. The sunrise on a clear day is beautiful. Will be back again.

A special place! We loved this little gem! Quiet and peaceful, but close to the beach and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds comfortable. The swimming pool is perfect after a day out! Best of all are the owners and staff who are just wonderful. Always smiling, offering tea, coffee and water and always on hand for anything you need. We loved everything about this place.

Excellent hospitality. The host was wonderful and the staffs were loving and compassionate. The resort was located at the banks of a beautiful lake. The serene surrounding embracing nature was outstanding. Rooms and bathrooms were neatly maintained. The food was homely and tasty. They cater to our taste and interest. The stay was pleasant and felt like home. Cherai beach was at walkable distance from the resort. There were many restaurants with diversified menu near the property. Swiggy and zomato were also available. Overall a wonderful experience.

I spent six weeks in India and this was my favourite guest house in terms of the location and the amazing welcoming feeling provided by owner and staff. Beautiful, clean and peaceful with wonderful food, drink and service! Thank you Shari and your staff! 10/10!

Fantastic place so peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are very specious, spotless clean. Let me tell you that staff of the place deserves clapping, very friendly, food is best I had during my two weeks in India. Just delicious homemade Kerala food!! Addisional services like massage, yoga is must to try there. Highly recommend Lakefront BH.

Absolute recommendation It was such a highlight through our Indian trip to stay a week at lake front and receive daily ayurvedic treatments, yoga and meditation. The area is beautiful, the staff friendly, supportive and just amazing. The food cooked fresh from scratch everyday and truly delicious. Shari and her family definitely made us feel home. Coming back for sure :)
