Our stay for 2 days at the Great Hornbill Resort was a peaceful, pleasant and amazing experience. We had much fun at the river and swimming pool. We had a wonderful get together around the heart warming campfire. There were many activities and sports. The atmosphere was the most important for the people who wants to escape work, stress and hassle. The journey really made us feel the beauty of the nature and the sound and quivers of the birds. I truly thank the people for their help and they were the ones who keep this place like it's in photos.

What stood out the most was the warm and welcoming hospitality—the staff were kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Our stay at the Great Hornbill Resort with family was truly memorable. The location is stunning, with a nearby river and several small and medium waterfalls that add to the natural beauty. The soothing sound of flowing water made us feel deeply connected to nature. We’re especially grateful to Mr. Anvar Babu, the resort manager, for his warm hospitality. Despite our late arrival, he ensured we had a delicious dinner, which we really appreciated. 🍽️ A special thanks to Mr. Tomi from the resort team, whose efforts in retrieving my lost drone from across the river were truly commendable. 👏 The natural swimming pond, filled directly from the nearby river, was a unique experience—something we’d never tried before. The kids absolutely loved it. This resort, tucked away in the lush green forests near Nilambur, is perfect for anyone seeking peace, serenity, and a genuine connection with nature. We leave with full hearts and lasting memories.

Had a great time at Greathornbill Resorts! The stay was really good — rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. Staff was friendly and helpful throughout. The food was tasty. Loved the natural vibes around... beautiful atmosphere with greenery all around. The scenes were amazing — perfect spot if you're looking to relax in nature. Activities were fun and the natural pool was a highlight! Also spotted so many butterflies around the resort — it added such a magical touch to the whole experience. 🦋 Overall, everything was good. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful getaway in nature.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Despite paying a premium price for the room, I found the facilities to be unhygienic and far below the standards expected from a five-star property. The food quality was terrible, with watery curry and clear hygiene issues. Most shockingly, the bedsheets and blanket had visible blood stains. This experience was nothing like the high ratings I had seen online, and I feel misled. I urge the management to urgently address these concerns and offer a resolution

We chose The Great Hornbill in Nilambur for our 3-day honeymoon getaway — and what a beautiful decision it turned out to be! From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in warmth — not just from the serene atmosphere and lush greenery, but also from the wonderful people who run this place. The rooms strike a perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort — with cozy bamboo furniture that adds a touch of tradition, and all the amenities we needed to relax. One of the most unforgettable parts of our stay was meeting Mr. and Mrs. Prassannan — the parents of the MD. Two genuine, kind-hearted souls who treated us like family. We were fortunate enough to join them for a stream bath nearby — a simple experience that turned into something magical. The water, flowing straight from the mountains through roots and plants, felt like nature itself was rejuvenating our souls. Throughout our stay, the sound of the stream never left us — a constant, calming rhythm that made us feel deeply connected to nature. The climate was just perfect — cool, fresh, and filled with the scent of forest life. And the candlelight dinner? Absolutely lovely. Every little detail, from the ambience to the food, was thoughtfully prepared and made the night feel incredibly special. This wasn’t just a resort stay — it was an experience of warmth, connection, and peace. We left with hearts full and memories we’ll cherish forever. Dear Sri.Arjun, We had truly joyful, unforgettable stay at Great Hornbill Resorts, quite a splendid spot, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Spacious well laid out rooms, quality delicious dishes served at neatly maintained dining hall with courteous service made our stay enchanting. Bathing in the forest stream with burbles as it travels along the bed bubbling over rocks, was a memorable experience. So too was the morning trekking, useful way to get some exercise enjoying the scenic view.And 'Bus House' dormitory, an interesting concept. It was rejuvenating, to get evoked a sense of being cradled, nurtured by nature with birds'calls from treetops, insects' buzz in the underground, wind whistles through leaves and susurration of stream bubbles over rocks. Relished the warmth of hospitality of resorts management team efficiently administered by you and professionally handled by Mr Anwar Babu. Organic architecture of the Resort , harmonizing with natural environment designed and executed by architect late T G Ramesh stood awe inspiring. Needless to mention, the vision and masterly leadership of Sri. T P Prasannan, Chairman, Great Hornbill Resorts in getting conceived and implemented such a novel theme and developing it to a wonderful destination of tourists' attraction.
