The Nirvana Resort Munnar

I just have 1 word “Wow” Resort :After searching lots of options on travel websites I finalised the Nirvana resort , it’s a small property with 2 suits ( bedroom +living ) , each suit can easily accommodate 4-5 people as bedroom Is having a long size bed and living having a king size sofa cum bed we were 2 family of 4 members each, and after getting confirmation from Akhil ( property Manager) that we 8 can stay in it I booked it directly by paying a small advance payment location: is very good ,it’s on a hill top and next to Tata tea estates , your balconies open towards tea estates and gives a amazing view of bison valley , it’s around 5 km away from city and not possible to go multiple times to city in a days, but I see all the good hotels/resorts are away from city , so it should not be a Problem , you can plan accordingly Food : our breakfast was complementary and it was amazing , (we had Idli and Dosa during our 3 days stay ) they chutneys were out of the world , we ordered dinner twice and both the times it was good , full marks to the cook who prepares food , remember they don’t have a restaurant, all the foods will be served in your room , they have dining table , you can enjoy the valley view while having your food . They have a room for Drivers too Highly recommended hotel if you are travelling with friends /family

Location is major highlight of the property. It's right on top of a hill with a panaromic view of the valley and the tea estates from the balcony sitou. You can sip your favourite tea watching sunset. Food is good for the price. You get a decent variety but you need to inform your choice upfront. Barbeques and Campfire available as well. Rooms are decent at the price they offer. It ca easily accomodate 8 members. Beware of insects and reptiles, don't keep the doors and windows open during night time, as the property is located in the middle of a tea estate and surrounded by bushes and trees

There are only 2 rooms in this hotel. You can easily guess that the person who looks over the resort takes care of the guests as there are only 2 rooms. That is the case here. The rooms are large and nice and this resort is almost at the top of a hill so the view is quite nice. Dinner and Breakfast are provided here and are also made fresh for the guests. Excellent room service.

Amazing hospitality from the caretaker of the resort Mr Akhil sir. The resort is located at one of the top hills and the view from the balcony of the first floor stay is just breathtaking. We get complimentary breakfast which is served hot every morning and dinner is also provided if preferred to eat at the stay. Car/Auto if needed will be arranged by Akhil on need basis. Overall the experience at this stay has been amazing with beautiful tea estates surrounded and homely meals.

Pros :|Amazing Hospitality by Akhil, He listens to us and cooks food suiting our taste buds. Excellent view from the first floor facing the mountains & Tea Gardens. Akhil organized Bon fire when requested|Cons:|This is a Bachelor pad and not recommended for families. The place is too isolated and remote. Also, for Bachelors strongly recommend to have your own vehicle othersie commute would become a challenge. Also, the Bathroom doors were not locking properly (both at Ground & First floor), Bathroom was leaking and there was a bad odour from the Bathroom all 3 nights. One fo my friend had a terrible experience of running out of water twice when he took bath.

Great views, right in the mountains. The host was very helpful, took care of the food and let us pick what we wanted to eat, delivered the food to our room and even found a tour guide for us. The wifi worked very well too. However the place itself had moldy bathrooms, no shower curtains, and overall a terrible smell the whole time. No bedsheets and almost none of the things listed on the website.

“Nirvana” an amazing place to stay on the mountain with beautiful views of tea gardens around. One of the best places to stay close to Munnar. Well maintained rooms and tasty food. Staffs are amazing...! Special thanks to “Akhil” for the wonderful hospitality provided...! We recommend Nirvana to my family and friends…! Thank you for making these days so memorable…!

I had the pleasure of staying at Munnar Nirvana Hotel recently, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location amidst the lush green hills of Munnar was absolutely breathtaking. The staff Akhil was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Overall, I highly recommend Munnar Nirvana Hotel for a serene and memorable stay in Munnar.
