One of the best stays in Wayanad! They say there’s no network here — but trust me, you can still get your work done if needed. What truly stands out is the calming sound of the nearby waterfall — it’s something words can’t fully capture. I stayed here for two days, and every moment felt peaceful and refreshing. The staff is warm and welcoming, and both lunch and dinner were absolutely delicious. If you’re looking to immerse yourself in nature or want a quiet, soulful retreat, this is the perfect place. A hidden gem. If you are someone who deeply appreciates and enjoys the natural world go for this. You can emerge yourself in its beauty and complexity. Service is excellent. It is a home away from home. Food was delicious with set menu. Its uneven terrain to the property which you will have to go in jeep they provide for the last few kilometers. Truly off road drive. Safe parking area for your vehicles is available.

Ambiance / Location : This place is a real hidden treasure nestled inside serene green cover. A must visit for nature lovers who like to stay off grid / with nature.||Rooms : We stayed in suite room that is attached to the main reception / resturant block.|Has a balcony with a view to the running stream.|The matress / pillows are decent enough for a good sleep.|There is sufficient space to for additional matress but will be on the floor only.|Restrooms were clean and tidy.||Note : Since the rooms are close to the resturant, it will be noisy until they close the kitchen.||Food / Service : There is no room service available.|Food is always freshly prepared for all times of the day. Quality is very good and tastes like home cooked food.|We also get food for toddlers but we need to inform them well in advance.|Since the place is not close to the town, basic things like bananas / fruits will not be available.||Overall :|Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy peace away from city noise.||Commute : The hotel parking is at a private residence (close to 6 cars can be parked)|Jeeps are the only means of transportation to the hotel from here.|PS : If you are owning a 4X4, you can request the hotel incharge to drive it to the hotel. The access road is rough, narrow and with water crossings along the way.

It’s awesome experience. Starting with the off road experience which was really good. The tag line “date with the nature” is truly experienced here. You will fall in love with the nature. The sound of the water and the the birds is sooo pleasant.

This was my second visit to LanternStay. The first one was 12 years ago but amazingly they have maintained the resort in the same way and there is no sign of aging anywhere. The highlight of the resort is the offroading trip needed to take to reach here. And a luxurious place in the middle of nature so far from any crowd. The rooms are modern, luxurious and comfortable. The staff are outstanding. Everyone is equal here. I have seen other places where it is very evident who is a trainee and who is the Manager. Reducing the experience to a mechanical way. Here you will find the staff, manager and even the owner helping and catering to the guests together. Their unique stories and perspectives add a humane touch and a natural feeling. There is trekking, camping, music, campfire and the food. Amazing! Freshly prepared everytime and tastes so yummy. There is no menu card and they have a set menu but they will ask your preference and choice to provide you a personalized experience. Overall a really good place to unwind and relax. Will be visiting again for sure.

The lantern stay was one of my best stayed ever ..it was like road to heaven ..the road were crazy but once we reached the destination thats nothing than that …the hospitality was awesome .we really enjoyed our moments out there .we went for trekking,swimming,foods ,camp fire etc…the staff working there has very great attitude of serving a services ..thanks for making our vacation unforgettable ❤️❤️❤️

One of the must visit Resorts in Wayanad. The off-road was superb, even the location and vibe is excellent. Service was awesome. Food was so tasty
