The grounds are beautiful. Our rooms have a view of the water with house boats and small boats coming in and out. The sounds of nature are all around us. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with high ceilings. The fan in the room is high powered. AC works wonderfully as temps are in the 80s here in December.|The spa staff and services are amazing. Prices compared to the US... fantastic! So we got a service each day we were here - head massage and full body massage were our favorites!|The food in the restaurant was wonderful. Buffet is available for breakfast and dinner. So many choices, mostly Indian, but they also included things like pasta, French toast, omelettes to order, etc. You will not leave hungry. We have a member in our group that is gluten free and they were eager to accommodate and at each meal we attended, they recognized us and made sure our needs were met.|The entire staff but especially the front desk were the star of the resort. Rajeev and Meenakshi helped us in every way possible. They arranged boat rides for us. We mentioned that we wanted to do a Rickshaw tour of inside the village and within minutes, there were 3 different Rickshaws in front of our hotel. We were given their contact info so we could contact them with any of our needs.|Highly recommend this resort!

We had high expectations for our stay at Abad Whispering Palms, especially since we booked the most premium room for our honeymoon. Unfortunately, our experience fell short in several ways. The power went out at 4 a.m., waking us up abruptly. While the issue was resolved, the air conditioning stopped working afterward, leaving us to manage without it for half of the next day. This was quite uncomfortable, especially given the premium price we paid for the room. We were also looking forward to the special arrangements typically associated with a honeymoon stay, but no complimentary services were provided. Additionally, we had pre-booked a candlelight dinner by the lake, but upon arrival, we were informed that the lake setup was not possible. Instead, the dinner was offered in the restaurant, which lacked the privacy and ambiance we were hoping for. Unfortunately, we were not offered a refund for this change and were asked to adjust it in the final bill. While the location and property have potential, these issues impacted our overall experience. We hope the management considers these points to improve the guest experience in the future. The support staff was kind but the service was poor. The music arrangements in the evening was really good.

I recently stayed at Abad whispering palms and had a great experience overall. The stay was very comfortable, and the highlight was undoubtedly the stunning backwater view from the hotel – it’s a sight to behold, especially during sunrise and sunset. The swimming pool is well-maintained, and they allow entry only with proper swimwear. The food, while decent, felt a bit overpriced for the quality & quantity offered. It’s worth keeping in mind if you plan to dine frequently at the hotel. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with beautiful views and a relaxing ambiance, Abad whispering palms is a good choice.

Visited with my wife snd toddler son for four nights. Its a great place for a staycation . Beautiful quiet resort with lush green & tropical landscaping located on the lake. It has got a sea like view of the backwaters. They have got lake view rooms and private pool villas. We had stayed in the pool villa which was quite large with a clean pool in the backyard . Breakfast spread was good. Restaurant and room service accommodated all our requests too considering that we were travelling with a baby. Me and my wife loved the Alleppey fish curry. The staff is very courteous and showed highest standards of hospitality. They have in house houseboats and shikara rides should one need it. They have an Ayurveda soa and a children’s park too. I had a wonderful experience. Recommended for all.

We visited the resort for a one-night stay to experience the houseboat, and it was truly worth every moment. We had an amazing time! If you’re a nature lover like us, you’ll absolutely adore this place. It’s also perfect for capturing stunning videos and photos!

A spacious and thoughtfully laid out resort. Expansive reception that flows down to an infinity style pool facing the lake. Our room was a bit dated but spacious. The bathroom included an internal garden with an open roof. Nice in concept, not so much in delivery, as the garden only included a small, sad bush surrounded by concrete. Air conditioning worked well in conjunction with a ceiling fan. We never had hot water during our stay but it was so humid and stifling, it wasn’t an issue. Our room faced a small ornamental lake and was quite a pleasant outlook. The buffet breakfast and dinner was fine.

Room was very clean, bed just about comfortable. Loved the outside bathroom, and the pool was lovely.| Restaurant food was ok, but my husband got D&V from eating the prawns so only ate boiled rice for the rest of our stay.| Reception staff where ok but could have been more welcoming, they didn't ask me how our stay was or for any comments.| The restaurant main waiter was miserable and needed to up his game being customer facing, a smile every now and then wouldn't have gone a miss.| The waiting staff where hard working and approachable.|Location, location, location is how I would rate this hotel! They seem to rely on this and don't put much visible effect into it.
