The Heaven of Kovalam -Mini House

I was here 18 years ago. The Mini House is as beautiful as before and even better. The ocean view over the balcony is stunning. They did their best to keep the room clean and also the garden. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. It is very important for me as a woman who travels alone. I felt safe here. I am happy that I had the chance to come back to the same hotel 18 years later. Hope I will come back soon.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed with the condition of both the room and the bathroom. The hotel seems to be undergoing incomplete construction, which significantly impacted my experience. The room itself was far from satisfactory. It was clear that renovations were ongoing, with exposed wiring, unfinished walls, and construction debris scattered around. This gave the room a neglected and unsafe feeling. The bathroom was even worse. It appeared to be a major work in progress, with half-installed fixtures, an unsealed floor, and poor water pressure. The lack of basic amenities and the overall lack of cleanliness made it uncomfortable to use. Overall, [Hotel Name] fell short of expectations due to these significant issues. I would recommend checking for recent reviews or the status of ongoing construction before booking a stay here. Adding to the frustration, the hotel’s management has been unresponsive and dishonest. Despite leaving the hotel on the same day due to these issues, I was unable to cancel my stay or receive a refund. The owner falsely claimed that I had stayed the full term of my reservation. To make matters worse, after leaving the hotel on the same day, I found that MakeMyTrip was unhelpful in resolving the issue. Despite my attempts to address the situation, their support team was unresponsive and failed to facilitate a refund or cancellation. the combination of inadequate accommodations and lack of support from MakeMyTrip has left me thoroughly dissatisfied. I would advise caution when booking with this hotel and through this platform. The room itself was far from satisfactory. Maintenance and service is poor. The place could use some improvement in maintenance and ambiance. It's a shame they didn't put more effort into making it beautiful. Actually the balcony view of the sea is very beautiful, they should have used that property more effectively. Because they got an amazing property near the beach view. They should maintain it properly for greater ambience.

Beautiful location . Sea at your door step. ! The property is very pretty but needs a renovation . If not fussy about things not being new ( as paints of railing peeling , wash basin has cracks ) then can stay here . AC Room we stayed in ( 1st floor - left side ) was spacious and everything kept very clean. A big plus point that walking distance to lighthouse and beach . View from the balcony is awesome - vast sea in front of u , waves crashing on the rocks, so Calm and peaceful.

Absolutely no words to describe the experience. Location is awesome, staff was very helpful, safe for women, cleanliness maintained. You'll get a great view of the harbour and still enjoy serene views from the balcony. Location to the city centre was a little challenging, however the staff could help you get to places and it does help a lot.

Rooms are not fit for families. It is located in a nice location and you can have the sea view from balcony. But the rooms and wash room are dirty. Room has a pungent smoking smell. Its an ordinary and below average room located in a good location.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious and immaculate, and the hotel's location was convenient. I also enjoyed the delicious meals at the on-site restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The place is prime, behind the light house. Tiny little place, cramped rooms with no dine or parking facilities. Paid parking made on another property far from this location. Washrooms were not upto the mark. Stinking smell all around the room. It's good for bachelor or friends. Not recommended for families
