Challet Hotel

We were very happy with the stay, My family and kids loved the stay very much and I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The ambiance here is always inviting and comfortable. The rooms are very nice and especially the room service was very good.

Me and my wife spent two nights here during our two-month Indian trip. We got a spacious double room with a large clean bathroom and AC. We paid around 1000Rs (incl all taxes) per night. The hotel looks very nice (we thought it was romantic and kind of sad at the same time). The manager was helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was nice, up on the terrace. Short walk from the beach. WiFi is only available in the (comfy) hallway, on request.

1st of all, the location is bad. It is at walking distance from beach but the hotel in itself is in a bad place. It's surrounded by local peoples' houses.||The rooms are big with good balcony but since it is not that close to sea, there is nothing to watch except the 5 star Leela hotel that it faces.||There are just 2 staff people. For breakfast, you get only bread & butter/jam with tea/coffee.||But yes, the manager & the receptionist are very friendly & polite.

Spent a night at the hotel. It was a last minute deal on 31 Dec 2014. We got 4 spacious rooms which were neat and clean. The location of the hotel is opposite The Leela Kovalam and just few mtrs from the beach. A great place though with no restro makes it cumbersome but overall conduct of staff is very cooperative. Recommended for stay.

For my conference I stayed in this Hotel.||Rooms were good, Kovalam beach was just few meters distance. Hotel staff were so good and always available for each and every need.||Only one drawback I found was location of the hotel. ||To me overall was worth for money I spent .

Chalet Hotel and resort is located on the picturesque kovalam beach, very close to Trivandrum Rly station and Airport. Nice rooms with a good view. Furnishings in the room are very good. Room service is excellent.

We went for five days and absolutely amazed by friendliness and professionalism of it's staff. The room is very good and the food absolutely delicious. We will definetely go back next year.

Personally advice to avoid stay at this resort. The location of resort makes it a Ghost Villa. I have horrible experience during stay without electricity and any person for response. This resort is nothing but waste of money.
