Jungle Book Vintage Resort Kanthalloor

Even though the Resort was poorly managed , we had nice experience staying there, only because of our wonderful group we had, not because of the resort itself. Our group was cooperative enough to overlook multiple issues, especially with cleanliness. All these were ruined by the kind of hospitality we had and the rude behaviour of the manager. The plates were old, and the coffee mugs had cracks and marks. The food quality was poor—the barbecue, which was charged at ₹900, was excessively oily, as if deep-fried, and everything was overly salty. Despite following the suggested meal timings, we still had to wait for food. There were dogs and cats roaming in the dining area, sometimes licking guests, which was extremely uncomfortable. The idli served for breakfast was soft but had an unpleasant sourness , making it hard to eat. There was no assistance for carrying luggage uphill to the rooms, which was a bad first impression. At check-out, the real problem began. The manager had promised off-season discounts, but when we mentioned it, he started arguing aggressively instead of handling the situation professionally. Even though we calmly told him we were not looking for a fight, he continued shouting at us, even after we paid the full amount. We had to leave without even hearing a simple "thank you" for our stay. The manager’s rude behavior overshadowed everything. Even with some issues, we were willing to ignore them for the sake of our group trip. But hospitality matters, and this was one of the worst experiences in that regard. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

The place was good with good accommodation. Promises looks adventures and interesting for an hangout. Few bad remarks we had was the place they serve food was kind of a open place where puppies and cats will surround us while eating the food. While reserving they mentioned like will adjust the amount since it is off season later changed their words while paying. Amounts they talk in the call will slightly changes. Hesitated to accept customer experience and kind of arguing for simple things. They mentioned that this is the service they can provide in a stay in forest which was very bad response from the management to the customers. Food place and the vibes over the resort are good.

Such a wonderful place and very good customer service they provided. Food,Net connection , Hospitality, Comfortable Rooms, reasonable charges are possible here. Can recommend to all. Great experience we had with JUNGLE BOOK RESORT.

We 8 including kids had an excellent stay I’m jungle book resort. Gopi took care of each and every request with care! Thanks to them- we had a great time! Please come with expectation to relax and chill- you’ll not regret!

The stay was okayish for the claims they did, and the food they served was also good but the hospitality I would rate the minimum. We had a bad experience with the way the staff dealt. When we contacted them before making the booking, they said that they would adjust the price since it’s an off season and ended up arguing on day of checkout saying since it’s a weekend, they can’t. Our depair started when we had agreed for a jeep safari but they didn’t stick to the cost or the distance they said they would conver we discussed and infact increased the rate on the day we arrived saying that they never said so. But anyways we just let it be and went ahead with the plan since we had our families and didn’t want to spoil the spirits of the group. The thing that most upset us was that instead of being polite and stating their points, they were being snobbish and also didn’t hesitate saying that they cannot afford better facility in such areas while serving just normal food and no one to cater to the team when we had luggage’s that we carried ourselves while they kept us looking. And not to mention, they even charged extra for the tea they served with the breakfast. Never going back to this place for the hospitality reason.

Me and my family recently stayed in the mud House of this resort. It was a wonderful stay. Especially the area where the resort located was so mush peaceful and very beautiful, we can see the real beauty of the nature here. And the stafs were very cooperative and friendly. The food was so tasty.

We had a superb and comfortable stay at Jungle Book Vintage Resort. The staff was excellent, especially Gopi, who is in charge of the resort. He was incredibly cool, friendly, and always there to assist with our needs. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!♥️♥️♥️♥️

I recently went on a solo trip and stayed here. Despite booking at the last minute, the staff and manager Gopi, provided exceptional hospitality and ensured everything was taken care of. The food felt homely, and the location is stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place to others!
