Cure Monastery An Ayurvedic Center and Resort

The stay was excellent. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The tree house was a different level of experience. They also have a small dam next to the tree house, which enriches the stay specially in the night time. The room was shared with some fireflies and sky was open through the glass roofs. You shouldn’t expect spacious rooms/bathrooms on a tree-house. The deluxe room is very much spacious and comfortable. Food was homely and tasty. Better if they could place a dental kit in the room.

Heaven on Earth. No words to describe the ambiance and facilities. The resort is having a warm welcoming entrance. Though we reached after a long journey at late night we received good delicious tasty hot food served in neat and clean atmosphere. Rooms are spacious in white colour ambiance. Good calm and quite sleep. Morning was so vibrant with birds crispy voice. We walked along the water reservoir and dam site which was a memorable day. The tree house was an amazing experience. The care taker and the staff were so friendly as they treated as their family members paying attention to all our minute needs. The resort is full of medicinal plants and flowers which was another wonderful experience. The farm animals was friendly and playful and our kids enjoyed a lot. We recommend this resort for those who wish to stay in a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Thanks a lot for the staff of Cure Monastery for giving us a memorable stay in Marayoor. Thankyou

A wonderful place! Mr. Nelson and his staff are exceptional hosts. Nelson makes you feel like you are his most honoured guest! It was just what I wanted: very quiet, beautiful views, especially from the rural roads nearby, where I took long walks every day--a perfect spot if you want solitude and relaxation. The food is superb, really delicious, and they accommodated my vegan preferences perfectly. The rooms are simple, very clean and comfortable I sometimes don't like to make reviews too good, because I don't want the place to get too busy! But I can't really praise Nelson and his staff enough. Thank you, Nelson, for a wonderful time. I hope to return next year.

Picturesque property situated in a remote village surrounded by beautiful hills. Has a small dam and waterfalls inside flowing from their own private lake which is good for sightseeing. The wooden Skywalk connecting the rooms to the lake is quiet adventurous. Food they cook was simple but delicious. Special mention to Mr.Nelson, the manager and his courteous staff who made our stay very memorable. Still miss this property though it's been 2 weeks since we left. Note: The property is next to a Church and the rooms are a part of the church. It was quite noisy during their prayer times.

Excellent hospitality and amazing views of the Mountain, one side Kanthalloor Hills and other side Munnar Hills. We had a very pleasant stay. It’s a Huge resort area in 200 acers, with a few rooms. We enjoyed the walks to the Resort Dam, waterfall and the rock formations on the hills that are characteristics of the area. Its actually a Ayurvedic resort for Germans. After covid they start taking normal bookings also. Its situated above 5000 ft from sea level.||From munnar to Marayoor journey was outstanding through the sandalwood forest. Main sight seeing like Irachilpara water fall, water dropping from 350 meter height which very close to the resort. Kanthallor farms, you will get all fresh fruits, honey, original ayurvedic medicines and vegetables. Kanthaloor Bhramaram rock and View Point etc.||Sumesh (Nelson Samuel) the manager , was very helpful and always a call away for any requests. His staff available in kitchen especially Sofia and Sandhya are super food makers and polite.||So thrilled, happy and already missing this place and it's people. After all it's the people that make a place and it's so true about Cure Monastery.

This place is a work-in-progress run by a team filled with heart. Nelson, the manager couldn't do a better job. He's considerate, kind and discrete. The rooms and food are simple and good. It is a hotel focused on health and early rising, as it sits beside a monastery that rings it's wakeup bells at 6.15am every morning. No rest for the wicked here 😉 Great hikes in the surrounding area. A place to come to restore your connection with yourself and nature.

A beautiful place felt exactly like being in my home. Family friendly. I loved staff’s behaviour most. The food(Kerala Style) provided along with accommodation is just awesome. I love to be in a place where can get rid of all my stressful thoughts and this place was a complete package of peace and love. If you are all set to go for a Marayur trip, you must visit Cure Monastery and feel home alike experience.
