Madhav Mansion Beach Resort

The location is nice, in a peaceful area near a sea cliff. The rooms are also good. The staffs are polite. The sitting area outside our room is dirty as half of it is used as a store room for some old appliances. Although this space is not mentioned in the booking & is like a bonus for us, but the dirty environment makes the space unpleasant. Except this everything else was good.

Our stay at Madav Mansion Homestay was quite pleasant. The host, Sanjeev, was extremely helpful—he arranged a driver for us and even managed to get a scooty when we needed one, making our trip much more convenient. The homestay is located about 4 km from North Cliff, which is the main tourist hub of Varkala. As it's a bit interior, having a scooty or car is essential for commuting to the attractions and finding food options, as there are no restaurants nearby. However, just 100-200 meters from the homestay, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset, which was a lovely experience. While the house is spacious, it wasn’t very well-maintained, and the kitchen could use a bit more cleaning. Despite that, the entire homestay was ours to enjoy without any interference, giving us the freedom to relax and make ourselves at home. There’s also a nice terrace area where you can sit and spend quality time with family. Though only one restaurant is located nearby, for most meals you’ll need to travel about 4-5 km. The host's helpfulness made a big difference, and they also have a caretaker who is available to assist with any small needs and cleaning whenever requested. Overall, we had a good experience. With a bit of improvement in cleanliness, the place could be even better. However, the peace, privacy, and helpful host made our stay enjoyable.

One of the best places to stay near the beach. The caretaker Vijayan is also very helpful. The owner Sajeev is humble and welcoming. The hospitality is top notch. His recommendations and interactions from the time of initial inquiry until check-out are constant. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the place to family and friends. I would love to return.

Guys words fall short to express my description of my lovely and most memorable stay in Varkala, Mr Sajeev the owner and of course a big brother made my stay truly comfortable, his hosting was amazing and deeply committed to his values of Customer satisfaction. Every moment spend here was a divine and pleasant experience. He took care of my itenary, my request, my needs and arranged the platter of love covered with genuineness. Will come back again and highly recommend this place and experience purity of love. Thanks Sajeev for everything. Miss you and this place 🙏🙏

Their genuine warmth and hospitality made me feel like part of their family. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, providing helpful tips about local attractions, arranging transportation, and even sharing stories over a cup of Coffee. Serene Ambiance The homestay is nestled amidst lush greenery, and the beautiful viw of Sea away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The tranquil surroundings allowed me to unwind and recharge. Whether I was sipping my morning coffee on the veranda and watching the sea or strolling through the garden, I felt a sense of peace that’s hard to find elsewhere. Cozy Rooms My room was cozy and thoughtfully decorated. The comfortable bed, soft linens, and charming decor created a cozy retreat. I loved waking up to the sound of waves hitting the cliff, birds chirping outside my window—a delightful change from the usual city noise. Culinary Delights The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the food. Sajeev arranged delicious home-cooked meals that showcased local flavors. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, and I eagerly looked forward to the amazing breakfast. Don’t miss their Appam and Channa masala—it’s a must-try! I had a delightful stay at this homestay! The hospitality was outstanding – the host (Madhav uncle) was warm, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make my experience. The location, surrounded by lush trees and beach view created a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The cleanliness of the homestay was impressive, and the attention to detail was evident. Overall, a wonderful retreat with a gracious host and a picturesque setting. Highly recommended! 🌳🏡🌟

We had a great stay at this place. My wife booked this place and we were four of us. The rooms are spacious, air conditioned, and well-maintained. You will get all the amenities like water, toiletries, fridge, washing machine here. The property has ample parking space and also has a smart TV for entertainment. This place is very close to the beach. Finally the owner himself came and ensured that we were comfortable. Even the home made breakfast was delicious. All in all its a great place to enjoy your vacation. Only one point (I have rated 4 star in location because the exact location does not appear in google maps, you need to ask around as maps direct you to a nearby location, not the exact place)
