I recently stayed for two nights at Summer Sands Beach Resort in Mangalore, a lovely beachside property perfect for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. The resort offers spacious villas with garden views. We opted for an air-conditioned room which was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The bathroom was hygienic and had 24x7 hot water. The in-house restaurant, with stunning beach views, serves delicious food and offers alcohol. The resort also has a swimming pool, a lawn area, and a spa, adding to the overall relaxation. They even provide event hosting and decor for special occasions like private date nights and birthdays, which I found impressive. The staff was attentive, and the service was excellent, making my stay enjoyable and hassle-free. It’s also budget-friendly, with rates starting at around Rs 5,500 per night. The resort is spacious, with ample parking as well. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend it for a serene and enjoyable stay by the beach!🌟👍

Had a good stay here. The rooms are well maintained and the staff were quite helpful. Food was tasty. Considering the size of the property and the distance from the city, the high cost is understandable. The beach is very accessible and very clean. Just need to stay clear of the few stones in the water. The swimming pool is also quite well maintained and has multiple levels for kids of all ages. Minor issues observed AC remotes not fully working (can't change temp) and smart TVs not available (to watch OTTs etc.). Due to the distance from the city, it is preferable to use personal transportation. Taxi services will ask for higher price than what you might see in the app.

Stayed.for.two.nights, felt it's overpriced for the ambience and service. Rooms were large spacious and well.maintained The property is well.spread.out with around 30 cottages, however, the ground is not maintained, and furniture etc has become shabby. Menu card is lengthy but availability is limited. Quality of food is average...will.prefer if you have a high spice tolerance...almost all coastal curries tasted the same. Buffet breakfast is available if there is adequate occupancy. and the food is cold if you are not there within an hour of opening the buffet. Alacarte breakfast is minimal. Nice to sit in the restaurant on the beach and watch the sunset.

Recently we visited Mangalore with two small kids and two family members. We stayed in summer sand resort in AC deluxe and AC classic double room. We loved staying in the resort. Both the rooms were very big and comfortable..very apt especially if you are travelling with kids. We had breakfast buffet and one day ordered lunch and dinner. The food quality was very good. Enjoyed the food. We didn't feel like going out. Sea facing restaurant makes it more enjoyable. The pool facility and cleanliness was properly maintained. Best part was that they have a seperate kids pool section. We didn't have to worry much about kids in pool. Adults and kids all enjoyed in the pool. They have spa facility available too unfortunately we couldn't avail that. Best part is private beach and evening sunset . No need to step out only. No crowd just few of us were there. They have a play area for small kids.

Lovely Beachfront Stay!” Summer Sands Beach Resort at Ullal Beach was a perfect escape! The property was beautiful and peaceful, with lush greenery and amazing ocean views. The food was fantastic – especially the fresh seafood. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean and cozy. It’s a great spot to relax and recharge by the beach. Highly recommend!
