The Ocean View

A bit pricey for the room and property size . The rooms were clean , but the stench of the cheap room freshener can hit your head sometimes. I stayed at 2 double bed room , the attached bath was clean but small, the towels and sheets were clean, the food at the in-house restaurant was just ok , once you cross the small back yard the view of the sea , waves, speckled with small rocks by the beach is breathtaking. The beautiful someshwar temple is just a furlong walk . The temples serves lunch for the devotees after the maha mangalarthi, which tastes better than the food at the restaurant. The beach is good for long walk at sunset and early morning walks are soothing to the soul .

A very nice and quiet place, and it's right on the beach. The beach is not very crowded when compared to other beaches. The room is good and clean. The staff are nice too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ocean View Resort, and as the name suggests, this resort offers breathtaking ocean views, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was an experience I won't soon forget. The accommodations themselves are superb. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. The staff at Sunset Paradise deserve special mention for their warmth and professionalism. I highly recommend this place for a serene getaway!

A normal resort. Don't expect too much. But worth for money. Highlight is the beach nearby. You can have both evening and morning walk in beautiful setting and rising sun.

This is a genuine review.Plz don’t visit this place, only the garden and beach view is good and we fall for that and we will book the place. Rooms are like matchboxes so small. We can’t even move freely. Food is of another non sense. Owner is commercial to the core. Once u pay the amount while check in he doesn’t even care next. And the next day while check out before 9 am he comes and treats like u like parasite until u checkout. 2 star is only for lawn. Food service don’t even deserve 1 star

Well maintained property...fully furnished with WiFi..great views and very close (walking distance) to Someshwar beach! The cooks are excellent at preparing and serving yummy food. An amazing stay! Highly recommended 💯.The rooms are very neat, facilities are amazing. We especially loved the behaviour of the staff. Great Place to stay near Someshwara beach. It's right infront of the beach. Overall a good place to stay .Food is good, Definitely coming back!

Staying at The Ocean View in Mangalore was an absolute delight! The breathtaking views of the ocean right from our room made our stay unforgettable. The rooms are good enough for 2 ppl. Very tiny bathroom’s though. Ambience of the property is excellent. No problems with parking space. I liked the promptness of Mr Ganesh to informing us about NO food availability beforehand. This was ONLY due to Good Friday and Chef was on leave. The proximity to the beach allowed us to enjoy serene morning walks. I highly recommend The Ocean View to anyone looking for a memorable coastal getaway in Mangalore. We can't wait to return!
