Dandeli Chalet Homestay

I felt like I am in my second home. The stay was very nice, the rooms and wash area are very clean, neat and we'll maintained. The staff were like family members, very kindly gestures and good service. It's very quiet and peace full area. People how want to spend there quality time peacefully, then it's a perfect place. Food was awesome, it's traditional and healthy. It's a pure vegetarian homestay.

It was awesome Stay in dandeli Chalet. we enjoyed a lot and staff was very friendly and Co operative. Amazing place for people who love vegetarian cuisine and calm and peaceful atmosphere. The owners of the home stay themselves took personal interest to make our stay a very special. In all, we allowed to go back and we recommend anyone who like family, friendly atmosphere, great vegetarian, food, and friendly people.

An absolutely stunning 12 acre property run by an amazing 82 year old man at the helm of the affairs with his Manager Parshuram as the stalwart. There are 5 large cottages with double beds. Hot water, soap, shampoo and fresh sheets and covers are provided daily. The cottages are surrounded by greenery and forest. Local and seasonal meals are lovingly made by Kaki. The variety, taste and flavours are incredible. Activities - No words are enough for Parshuram who has knowledge of the land, governance of the area and a million interesting stories to stir your soul. He is an absolute asset to mankind and Mother Earth. Please go there to relax your soul and remember there are so many activities to do including safari at the Kali Tiger Reserve, visiting waterfalls, trekking, rafting and long walks. The place is surrounded by lush forests and beautiful heritage temples. A million thanks to this beautiful property for reminding us that life is beautiful!!

I was there with my wife n 2 kids. Booking it self was too easy. i thank Ms. Chethana Bhat for that. we reached by 4 pm in the evening. received by Manager mr. parashuram. cottage was cleaned , well kept. had nice welcome drink. played badminton, carrom and had nice dinner. Morning had Kashaya. a typical home made ayurvedic drink of this region. we were there for 4 days and not even single time menu was repeated. Greatest advantage is its completely veg food. everyday u can have thambuli with every meal, daniya, mango, lemon grass thambuli.. typical uttara kannada style. u wont find drink and dance community here, so very good for family vacation. we went around dandeli for 4 days, parashuram guides you well. I need to mention about Mr Hegde, the owner of this homestay. He is retired govt servant, aged 81 yrs. we need to learn that discipline, cleanliness, customer care from this gentleman. hats off to him. overall nice time with family. no internet, no mobile, no TV.. only family time. thank u dandeli chalet ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very calm and pleasant stay at Chalet. Each cottage is independent surrounded by nature. Cottages are clean and hygiene, very well maintained. Must go with family group of 15 -20 people and enjoy the stay. Food is pure veg which I liked most as it's rare.

We a family of 3 had a wonderful time at Chalet home stay. Quite, peaceful location still beside the main road. Cottage: Decently big enough space to walk around. Not rooms but you get a individual cottage to stay, quite spacious and neatly maintained. Restrooms were spacious and clean. Food: In house kitchen with elderly malnad couple as cook. Authentic malnad style food, hygenic and tasty. They also prepare and specific food on request. Their hospitality not to be forgotten, checking you with over every meal for your inputs. Owners and Staff: Well educated still down to earth owner and his family treating guests like their family. Warm conversations over food, campfire and whenever possible to ensure guests comfort. Mr. Parasuram the manager was very helpful and courteous, helped with places of visit and nature walk in the forest. Just an amazing and peaceful place to spend time.

It was very pleasant to stay at chalet homestay .. It was like homely feeling.. very nice hospitality All staff were very very polite especially mr.parshu sir very humble person.... cottages were spacious,neat and clean Food was awesome pure vegetarian and even jain food was available.. whatever we asked for food it was arranged without any hesitation .. definitely a must go place to chalet @Dandeli ... Thankyou All the chalet members for the memories ..
