Beside the Sindh river this resort offers a beautiful natural touch of hills,forest & gentle stream. Exciting place for adventurous couples, however, only camps are available for guests (2 persons/camp). Place has bonfire,benches,open high cabins just beside the river. Foods served specially for dinner is excellent both veg & non-veg. Peak booking demand in seasons & distance around 5 KMs from Sonamarg market place sets little difficulty for tourists in que. *Not recommended during heavy shower months b/w (Aug-Sep)*

Had mesmerizing time. Camp at the banks of river was truly amazing. Electric blankets were provided which kept us warm and cosy. Can't expect a star hotel like ambiance and service. Can spend a night literally close to nature and they provided a decent service considering the location

Horrible service didn’t have any food except for coffee

We stayed here last night (22/06/2023).The view and the location is great. But the property is old. The tents are okay. The most important thing I want to mention is the service which is unimaginably poor. The whole day they did not have water, forget about the hot water, not even a regular cold water to wash. I had to literally use my own mineral water which we brought from outside. on complaining this, the staff and the lady who coordinates the booking also kept lying and at the end she stopped answering my call. The staff kept saying it will be started in 2 hours. We even tried to manage thinking it can be a once in a while problem, but the way the whole staff was responding was unacceptable. Food is below average, rotis are actually papad.. there were rats in some of the tents, even the other guests complained about it. some were complaining of blankets. Everyone who was staying that day was tired of some or other things. If you need anything you have to walk some 200 mtrs outside through stairs and there also if there is anyone to answer is not guaranteed. Consider this is just any other camping and camping prices are relatively lower. Max I would pay 3k to 4k including food per tent. The prices they charged does not justify anything they provide. we cancelled one night (out of 2 nights stay) and got Mount view in 5.5k which was far better hotel. Lastly, and this I am not 100% sure but the owner or vendor of this is changed as multiple people mentioned that they were good before.

Location is best to feel the nature. Services are ok. Food is not good. Rooms are clean and loaded with all amenities.

This place is an absolute delight! The staff are so friendly and humble. The sound of the river flowing right by the tents is so soothing, it's a natural therapy. And the greenery surrounding this resort is completely therapeutic! With every breath is a bountiful of fresh air. The food is delicious. The tomato based gravy is absolutely killer. My non-vegetarian friends preferred eating vegetarian. ❤️

All the tents are river facing. The sound of the river flowing is very soothing for the ears. We had a great experience there. The tents are sturdy and are very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean. The staff was friendly and ready to help. They also arranged bonfire and music at night. There are no intercom and had to use cellphone for room / tent service but no issue in that. However there are stairs to the tent so anyone with knee problem should re-consider. It had drizzled at night but there was no problem inside the tent. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to staying in tent in Sonmarg. Note: Only Non-J&K Postpaid Sim works in J&K. Non-J&K Prepaid sim doesn't in J&K (as of May'19)
