Paradise Camping Resort

We stayed here for one night on our trip to Sonamarg and the tents are quite cozy with clean linen, very basic though. The entire camp site is very pleasant with a nice bonfire are. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The food is extremely good with local flavors. The location is convenient and is a very close to the Sonamarg Highway. A very good value for money campsite and a must stay for all nature lovers.

A great camping resort on the riverside where one can directly experience the chilled water of the river a step or two below. With the mountains on the other side of the camp, it is an ideal location to trek up the golden grasses of the Sonmarg mountainside. The hosts are great and the cook served us with the most sumptuous and filling dishes of chicken and mutton, even though we arrived late.

The best part about this camping resort is its location. Situated on the banks of a flowing river, with mountains in the background, the view is just breathtaking! Add to that, there are strategically placed benches, where you can just sit and enjoy the beauty of the place or click some mind-blowing pictures! Food is decent and tents are comfortable. Despite the weather being cold, we felt cozy inside the tents.

Decent Place # Excellent Food # Services If you are looking for a neat and decent place to stay for a couple of days in Soanamrg, Paradise Camping Resort is a good choice. Rooms are spacious & nicely furnished, has hot water facility and a clean washroom. Food is EXCELLENT. Staff helpful; Thanks to Mr. shafi who even arranged for our fishing permit. Kind and Hospitable Palace Will come sure to Paradise Camping Resort if I visit Sonamarg again.

This place was our first pit stop on Srinagar Leh highway. Hotels in sonamarg are expensive by virtue of its location. This one is more of a budget friendly property in case you are ok staying with camps. |Met the owner in Srinagar and paid up advance for our stay, he also provided us with his father's contact number who manages Sonamarg property in case we needed help while navigating towards the camps.|We reached in the evening and were welcomed by hospitable staff (the owner was not present during our entire stay). The camp is located in the midst of nature - mountain, gushing river. The food was decent and camps good. Ours had an issue as the bed has some insects and we were transferred to another camp promptly. Rained heavily throughout the night but the camps stood their ground. It is a few km from main market and landing spot for Thajwas glacier, but the plus point is having a river side camp. Overall it was a good stay with bonefire in the evening.

Our travel agent book these camps for us during our stay in Sonamarg and it was an amazing experience we enjoy the Camping experience a lot. The food here was tasty and the best part was the campfire. They arranged a private campfire for us, we had to pay extra amount of Rs.1000 for the same but it was really worth it. They offered us Kashmiri kawa and some local snacks while the campfire and it was really amazing. We will surely come back again and try to stay longer in these camps.

This is a good option for people who are looking for a natural surrounding and not too hung up on the 'facilities'. The tents are nice and cozy - though we went in the summer so it was not extreme weather.||There is a nice river which runs next to the property. There isn't much to do, we were just looking for a stop-over in our onward journey to Leh so this worked perfectly for us.

The facilities are in great shape and clean. We were on the river side so we got a river side cottage. The tents where comfortable with nice bathroom. Food was excellent. It was bit cold in evening but the electric blanket filled the gap.
