Himalayan Herbal Resorts

I had the opportunity of visiting this serene resort and it was Breathtaking. Tucked between mountains with water flowing around. The resort is totally top notch with excellent rooms and staff. You can order any dish that you want, but do try the local kashmiri cuisine, the chef is amazing. You can also go on hikes, stroll in the garden and if you are a plant and herbs enthusiast, it would be your heaven. Its amazing for wfh people or if you just want to sit and read a book, they have a library as well. I was lucky that I got to experience snowfall as well, that too in April. And the next day it was sunny like it never snowed.

Absolutely terrific views from the property. The staff and service ensure that the stay feels so comfortable that you feel like you've not even left your home. The building integrates with the landscape and offers you a grounded perspective of the mountains, while having access to all amenities imaginable. The food represents the local cuisine of Kashmir with relevant customizations for vegetarians, and the overall stay makes you want to come again and again. This is my third time at the Himalayan Herbal Resort and I assuredly recommend this splendid place to all my networks. Food as well as green tea is prepared with in house grown vegetables in the herbal garden. Their tag line says " Close to Paradice " but from our side " It's Paradice on Earth "

Hands down, best view of the sonmarg valley. The place is quiet, has a canal flowing and the caretakers are lovely people.

Great place for peace and quiet. The rooms are very clean and well prepared for any first time American in Kashmir. The service was phenomenal and punctual. Each time I asked for something the host delivered all of my requests at a timely manner. The location is a bit isolated but that is as expected and much much better than being at the center of the main town. You are surrounded by nature all around and friendly people. I have no complaints whatsoever and will definitely be visiting in the future. I was blessed with the opportunity to see fresh snowfall the night I stay, hope to visit in the summer next time!
