A marriage group of myself and my relatives stayed in this lodge. No service. Even water hadn't too provided. When we asked the manager, he and a lady sounded very high speech in worse words. No tv provided. They hadn't any responses. Really, in my service I haven't bad experience in any lodge just like this Very very worst lodge.

The rooms are good for the money that we pay. They can focus on providing more facilities. AC facility is available but there is no individual water heater. There is good car parking. It is difficult to reach this place by car as the road to this place is very narrow.

This hotel definitely needs a renovation! Not a good place to stay. No inverter and there's also frequent electricity problems, which makes it not very safe!

It seems to be the old hotel in the area.. Rooms are not maintained well..only advantage is it has a small limited parking space at least .It needs heavy renovation work to make it suitable for stay..

I visited Vellore recently and despite booking online, upon reaching the hotel at 7pm at night, I was told that there were no vacancies. I was understanding at first and attempted to locate another hotel near by, however I wasn't able to find a vacant hotel. Whilst trying to find another hotel, it had come to my attention that I had fallen victim to credit card fraud and had to try and contact my bank immediately. With limited cash, an invalid room booking at the Palar, and a quickly diminishing battery life, I asked hotel staff if I could charge my phone at the reception, as there were a number of power points and it being 9pm, in order to find accommodation and contact my bank. The staff so "generously" let me charge my phone for 5 minutes, before asking me to vacate the property. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I would not trust this place with the third party online booking systems and staff have no regard for the safety of guests. All travellers beware, especially female travellers!

Basic lodging facilities. The AC does not work efficiently. Not a dirty place, but can do better. However, it is affordable and located at the centre of the city. So, giving 3 stars for the location.

Neatly nested in bylane on Officers lane opposite Voohri school, it's a good decent stay with ac rooms & solar heater water supply, TV.|Each room cost around Rs. 1800 per day|With lift & spacious corridor it's been designed appropriately.|The only glitch is no kitchen. So food has to be sourced from out.|Closeby is must try Maharaja Icecream.

It's our second time stay at Palar residency.||Nested in the bylane of city centre on officers lane, a busy road in vellore city.||Close to -||Voorhees school||hotels like Darling , Baby , Khanna , Surabhi international||shopping like Max , Reliance trends & pantaloons||Sweet shops - Sri krishna & A2B||Opp to famous Maharani icecream||Medical stores at walkable access||Good veg restaurant - Arya bhavan on 2 mins walk||Closeby to old bus stop..market area & cant.railway stn||||Rickshaws & local buses easily available.||||Rooms are a/c with 24 hrs water.||No kitchen in hotel only drinking water is provided.||Car parking available||Lift till 3rd floor||Reception people are very helpful||Overall a nice, economical & decent place to stay for families & couples.
