Yankee Resort Lava

Enjoyed our stay at this resort in Lava. The cottages have a good view of the mountains. Rooms are well maintained, cosy and comfortable.The behaviour of the staff was extremely courteous. They served us really good food too. Overall we had a wonderful experience.

We stayed for a couple of days with family at the resort. The resort's location is one of the best spots in Lava. If the sky is clear, Kangchenjunga is clearly visible from the suites. The suite rooms are situated in a beautiful spot. There are three suite rooms, one of which has a private balcony. The balcony is in such a picturesque location that you can sit there and enjoy the stunning view of Kangchenjunga. If you are traveling with your family or extended family, these suites are the perfect place for relaxation.||We arrived in Lava by car from Kolkata with some elderly members in our group and reached the destination around 7:00 PM. We had booked a guest house, but it didn’t work out for us. While searching for hotels, we arrived at Yankee Resort just for hotel hopping and somehow liked the place, as it was already late in the evening. At that time, we couldn’t appreciate the beauty of the Himalayas, but we ordered chicken along with firewood for a campfire and barbecue.||Here, I would like to appreciate Mr. Dipak Datta and his wife, the caretakers of the resort, for their excellent hospitality. They always provided "Service with a Smile." Our team consisted of 10 people, along with some other guests at the resort. Despite being only two people managing everything, they served all the guests efficiently. I can only call them by the alias name "Rabi Ghosh of Golpo Holeo Shotti." (I hope all Bengalis will understand why I referred to them as Golpo Holeo Shotti).||While there were many good things about the resort, there are also some areas for improvement that need attention from the management:||Wi-Fi is not available in the suite rooms, which are the most expensive rooms in the resort.||The suite rooms are located a bit away from the main building, at the back of the property. The pathway needs to be rebuilt so that elderly guests can walk comfortably.||The geyser and sanitary systems need to be in proper working condition.||I sincerely urge the property management to address these minor improvements and make this resort an even more attractive place to stay in Lava.

Staying in Yankee is a staycation by itself. Spacious and extremely well decorated rooms. Great food. Unparalleled hospitality. Transparent process all through. Must visit if you're in Lava.

I stay Here Yesterday 29/05/25.Stay was truely amazing .This resort give u vibe.All the resorts There in market bt their Cottages Won my heart.Truly Amazing Homestay .And Chef Deepak ,He is a Bengali Person and Foods Fully Homemade and very Tastefull.Nikhil Brother u also hlp me a lot Thank you.Best Resort in Lava there is no question.❤️And by luck we Got a super Rainy weather .🙏Owner is so Helpfull Person.

I have wondered i am very bad at expressing my emotions however to be honest yankee resort have treated me like their own son & brother. I have been in so many stays but Yankee resort I don’t know why i felt like I belong from here only. While booking my stay the owner said ‘you won’t regret’ and exactly that was very true . I am Sitting at the balcony next to my cottage and writing this review. Pine trees are always fascinating to me and I’m getting the view of lots of pine trees here sitting at the balcony. Can’t express in words much. In Yankee resort I have seen some old and antique stuffs from their ancestors which was attractive. I often come to lava and Yankee resort is my permanent stay from Today.

It was a very pleasant stay at Yankee Resort... The Hill view is ultimate ,, Just seat at the Balcony and Enjoy the Silence of the Nature.. the peacefulness of the Nature... Also enjoy the Sunrise view just from your Bed... The service and the stuff are also amazing.. very polite, very nice and friendly 👍 ... Must Visit The Yankee Resort 👌👌
