Overall Experience In Sohotel Hotel is listed below- 1. Rooms are damp, no floor mat, no runner, a foul smell was coming when you enter the room, a continous sound of a rodent can be heard from the false ceiling very disturbing, no proper ventilation in room. 2. Washroom was really untidy, not well maintained, no proper exhaust was present. 3.Dental kit was not provided. 4. Staffs are on the ruder side. Only thing good about the hotel is location.

SHARING MY WORST EXPERIENCE. 1. Rooms were untidy, noisy, continuous rattling noises from the ceiling as if the ceiling will fall down today itself specially in the night. Foul smell from the sheets and blankets. Washroom’s commode was the dirtiest thing I have ever seen just like the staff’s faces. The TV is not recharged until we tell them to. The landline doesn’t work. No carpets, no rugs in the room. You might slip on the wet floor. No ventilation in the washroom. No windows in the room. It doesn’t look like a 3- star hotel. Foul smell from the AC also it drips water. Constant smoking smell throughout the lobby area of the hotel. 2. The staff members are untrained and very unprofessional. We tell them something, they understand something. They can’t even guide you through the city if you are new over-here. Very rude and has zero etiquettes. Poor service from them is the only thing you can expect. 3. Complementary Breakfasts have only few options and that too unfulfilling. Only THE CHAI SERVED WAS A GOOD ONE. 4. Location was good if you want to visit Dakshineshwar, mall was good enough in which the hotel is and other transportation services like ferry, bus or the tottos.

Everything is good, nice rooms and it's quiet, doors and locks are good. The staff is well behaved, but it's a little overpriced. It's now 2500/day for a couple's room. 1800-2k would be reasonable. Apart from being overpriced it's good.

It was very very noisy and extremely disturbing in the lobby, passage and nearby rooms throughout whole night and we were not able to sleep even for one hour. Complained to the manager at night 3 AM. But no corrective measures taken.. The management at night is helpless.

1) Checked in wee hours. 2) Rooms alloted had spacious bed but rooms are small as compared to the size of bed. 3) 24 hours hot water was present. 4) Even the AC was perfectly cooling. 5) The breakfast was good though there was not much variety to it. the hotel has its own dining space. 6). One of the finest hotels in the area. 7) The vehicle parking is at the basement of the mall in which the property situated hence each in and out going of the vehicle attracts parking fee of rupees 20. This is a bit negative point about this accommodation.

Best Hotel , I Stayed more than 27 Times in 2 Years.. best hotel in 10 km range..!! Services are very good , staffs are very friendly..!!

Rooms are clean but some small cockroaches in room. Breakfast was very good. Staff is cooperative and Polite. Rest things also Good.

Location is very good if staying in howrah. Service is poor, main gate closes after 10 PM, have to walk through mall and food court and cover very long distance. After 10 PM only one security guard is available for room service and front desk.
